What they didn't post in the news article is that, immediately after taking the picture, they notice the monkey had snapped the dog's neck.

When my wife and I went back home a few months ago, a friend or ours had just gotten two young spider monkeys. The cutest little things I'd ever seen, (furry animal wise, and not counting Laurels' kittens ).

Everything went fine as they crawled around up and own my legs & my arms and on my head, until it was feeding time, and they decided they didn't like having pineapple juice inside their stomachs, but rather down the back of my shirt.

I agree, Monkees aren't meant to be pets. It's much nicer trekking through the jungle and seeing them up in the trees.

I hate monkeys...

Must be a past life issue. But I hate small monkeys. I have never met one up close. I haven't had a bad experience with one.

But every time I see one on TV or some other place, I want to destroy the damned thing.
