This isn't quite what you suggested, but would you consider providing some feedback? I was trying to work out some plot.

The alarm goes off Monday morning so I can go to work. She is between jobs so doesn't have anywhere to be at this point. She complained about not feeling well. So I say I'll be back at lunch to check on her. She let out an uncomfrotable grunt of acknowledgement. The office is close enough to walk. It is also on the way to the diner where we met and where we go for coffee. Jane is there and asks how Jan is doing. I tell Jane that Jan isn't feeling well and she skipped breakfast. Not that that is anything uncommon. Jane said she'll check in on Jan at break time.

I don't think about and go about my way.

Meanwhile back at the apartment...

Jan rolls out of bed, finishes her morning routine as normal.

Jane comes up. Knock on the door. "Are you there Jan?" The fan in the shower is still on, but the water has just turned off. Jane asks again, "Are you there Jan?" "Jack said you weren't feeling well?" As she walks down the hall to the bathroom, Jan steps out of the shower.

"You look fine to me" says Jane. Jan giggles, "Sure I am." "Are you still up to sharing my man with me?" "I'm ready when you are!" says Jane, her enthusiasm getting the better of her. "I left it by the door, but I brought some sandwichs for a snack later tonight; so we don't have to leave." "Thanks Jane. Why don't you help me from the shower."

Jane reaches for the towel wraps it over Jan's shoulders and begins to dry of her shoulders.

Having helped Jan towel of, Jane looks at the clock and says she has to go. "When you can get a chance, text me and I'll come over, to "check on you" like we talked about."

Meanwhile back at the office...

Jack looks over to Jared, his cubicle neighbor. "Jared, I'm going back to the apartment to check on Jan. She said she wasn't feeling well this morning." "Sure thing" said Jared.

Walking back to the apartment, Jack passes the diner where Jane works and waves through the window.

Back in the apartment, Jack finds Jan awake in her "sick clothes" - pajama pants and an old hoodie and her hair down; no make up. She is surrounded by takeout containers and tissues. She looks up says "Thanks for coming home." "Are you staying long?"

Jack sits beside Jan and she curls into him. Jan has rested her head on his chest and her hand finds its way to his waist. "How was work?" Jan says as she runs along his legs.

"It was good" "I guess" "I thought you weren't feeling well?" "Say, its getting late and I should put the rest of the stuff in the fridge. I'll see you after work."​
