I'm not sure where to start. I haven't tried a personal ad before but I am hopeful that this will work out to be a good thing! I guess I'll just start typing and see where this road winds up.
I'm a single woman in Tennessee. I was married for ten years but my divorce was finalized a year ago. I'm in my early thirties and this is my first foray into the "dating" world since the divorce. I'm from the south, born and raised in Tennessee, though I lived in the north for a few years. I'm college-educated and well-traveled. I'm rather independent but I don't mind having a man around at all...in fact, I prefer it. I'm a bit shy until I get to know someone and once I do open up, I'm very talkative and friendly. I always got a big smiley check-mark on "Plays well with others".
I'm really not looking to jump into anything quickly. I would like to exchange emails and go from there. And to be completely up-front about it, I'm not looking for married men. Not that I'm opposed to married men as friends, because I'm not! But I'm looking for something that has potential to become more down the road and married men really aren't available for that kind of thing, you know?
