A continuation of
THIS
thread because it was becoming too damn long.
"ShuckNJiveCare" is an unmitigated disaster for the economy and the public as a whole. Not only has it NOT delivered on any of its promises, many of its provisions have been 'stopped' by Executive Order.
I find it interesting that not a single, not one, democrat legislator has proposed any serious legislation to 'fix' it. Not even the president after whom its named, nor the presumptive democrat nominee for the presidency, Hillary. Leading me to conclude one of two things. Either they don't know how to fix it, or they have no intention of trying. For my part I conclude its the former, they don't have a clue as to how to go about 'fixing' it. It's also interesting to note that none of the proponents of "ShuckNJiveCare" in the referenced thread have made any suggestions as to how to 'fix' it.
Regarding 'fixing' it, there is no possible way of making that happen. Either politically or structurally. Bad designs are bad designs. It makes no difference whether its an automobile, an airplane, a toaster, or a system. And make no mistake, "ShuckNJiveCare" is a system. Trying to fix it by tweaking the legislation would be like the management of Reliant Automobile Company thinking that with just a few 'tweaks' they could make the "Robin", arguably the worst car ever offered to the public, a hot selling performance driver.

Or to put it in other terms, "ShuckNJiveCare" is the Chernobyl of health care systems.
There are those that think "ShuckNJiveCare" should be replaced by the government subsuming ALL health care delivery. Given the governments track record for doing much of anything I can't wrap my head around how these people think that health care would be an exception. The only thing our government has done with any sort of efficiency is to wage war and then only when it has committed itself to actually winning said war.
The private sector has always delivered better products at lower costs as long as robust competition was present. Why has this track record not only being ignored, but actually being vilified?
So in my own long-winded way I am extending an invitation for you supporters to step up and make suggestions as to how to 'fix' this disaster that has been foisted on the taxpaying public.
