A continuation of

THIS

thread because it was becoming too damn long.

"ShuckNJiveCare" is an unmitigated disaster for the economy and the public as a whole. Not only has it NOT delivered on any of its promises, many of its provisions have been 'stopped' by Executive Order.

I find it interesting that not a single, not one, democrat legislator has proposed any serious legislation to 'fix' it. Not even the president after whom its named, nor the presumptive democrat nominee for the presidency, Hillary. Leading me to conclude one of two things. Either they don't know how to fix it, or they have no intention of trying. For my part I conclude its the former, they don't have a clue as to how to go about 'fixing' it. It's also interesting to note that none of the proponents of "ShuckNJiveCare" in the referenced thread have made any suggestions as to how to 'fix' it.

Regarding 'fixing' it, there is no possible way of making that happen. Either politically or structurally. Bad designs are bad designs. It makes no difference whether its an automobile, an airplane, a toaster, or a system. And make no mistake, "ShuckNJiveCare" is a system. Trying to fix it by tweaking the legislation would be like the management of Reliant Automobile Company thinking that with just a few 'tweaks' they could make the "Robin", arguably the worst car ever offered to the public, a hot selling performance driver.

Or to put it in other terms, "ShuckNJiveCare" is the Chernobyl of health care systems.

There are those that think "ShuckNJiveCare" should be replaced by the government subsuming ALL health care delivery. Given the governments track record for doing much of anything I can't wrap my head around how these people think that health care would be an exception. The only thing our government has done with any sort of efficiency is to wage war and then only when it has committed itself to actually winning said war.

The private sector has always delivered better products at lower costs as long as robust competition was present. Why has this track record not only being ignored, but actually being vilified?

So in my own long-winded way I am extending an invitation for you supporters to step up and make suggestions as to how to 'fix' this disaster that has been foisted on the taxpaying public.

They have no suggestions and prove it by getting mad and throwing rocks at people who dare speak the truth about the biggest government scam in history. What really pisses them off is they were wrong (as usual) while we predicted its failure before it was even signed into law. They fell for it hook, line and sinker, and don't have the courage to admit it.

The government tried to fix something that wasn't broken, and in the process totally fucked it up. Now they're going to try and fix a problem they created and will fuck it up even more. It's classic Big Government. Their next step will be to spend more money.

We've seen this movie many times.

If you couldn't see that the cost increases of medical insurance and procedures were reaching crisis proportions before the ACA passed, then maybe you should visit an eye doctor.

Try explaining to someone who had a pre-existing health condition how the "old way" was better.

Addressing "Furry Foot" first. Insurance premiums have accelerated even more after the passage of "ShuckNJiveCare." As have the co-pays and max. out of pockets. To even suggest that making the problem worse is a solution borders on insanity.

Its not going to be fixed miles. Public disapproval is growing daily. And the republicans aren't going to lift a finger to help the democrats out of the abyss they've created, also without public support.

You and I know that this cluster fuck was designed to fail from the beginning. To fail so badly that the public would clamor for a single payer system. Unfortunately for the designers the public isn't reacting the way they intended.

You always bluster about "Dems live in Bizarro World." What the fuck world do you live in where some, if any of this is true?

Republican front-runner Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed, for months, that premiums under the Affordable Care Act are “going up 35, 45, 55%.” Trump cherry-picks insurers’ rate increases on the ACA marketplaces. The average premium increase was 8% for HealthCare.gov consumers between 2015 and 2016.

Note: Data on premium increases reflect the cost of health insurance premiums for a family of four.

Which more or less reflects this;

But none of that takes into consideration the increase, profound, in deductibles or co-pay. I hope you note that not only are the increases NOT slowing down, but are actually accelerating. It's beginning to look like the bogus temperature hockey stick.

So you have 2 threads on this and no solutions.

I didn't start the referenced thread..............idiot.

And my solution is to shit can it. But that wasn't my question. My question was for the proponents to explain how they'd fix it..............idiot.

That's super, but it isn't a solution. All you're doing is whining and, at the very least you should offer a solution.

Do you have a declarative statement to make spidey? If not you better realize that you stand for NOTHING, nothing at all. You're like a mosquito buzzing around the ear, annoying as shit, but really of no consequence at all.

But that's been your MO as long as you've been here, no declarative stands, You stand for NOTHING AT ALL. A truly hollow vessel.

Ironically it's coming from you, who just started a thread and isn't able to make a statement.

Just so we're clear, you can't seem to make a declarative statement on what your solution to the healthcare problem is, yet you want to attack someone who did present a solution. Unless you can decoratively say what you think the government should do, and back it up with details, you have no cause to whine.

Your flawed premise, however, is that the ACA somehow requires "fixing".

"Somewhere, somehow, some undeserving minority is getting access to healthcare, the access that is MINE BY RIGHT!"

I asked a question spidey, or did you miss that? Obviously you did. And when you asked my solution, I, unlike you, answered..............declaratively.

So how ya going to fix it sparky?

No, you didn't answer the question, you ran away from it, like you're running away from it now. You're whining out of sheer racism.

I guess that means you acknowledge my point. As always, a pleasure talking to you.

I merely acknowledge that you're being what you've always been. A know nothing, say nothing.

If you're a proponent of "ShuchNJiveCare" answer the question. If not, why are you here?
