shrinking a pic for lit

Can somebody show me how to make the pictures small enough to fit on here......................Please it's driving me crazy:confused: :confused:

For avatars or attachments -- the reuirements and limits are different.

For either purpose, download irfanview or A trial copy of Paint Shop Pro. Either progrm makes resizing as easy as typing in the largest dimension to the upper limit of an avatar or attachment and clicking OK.

Ok at the risk of sounding even more ignorant I would find those programs where:confused:

by clicking on the links under their names in my first post.

IrFanview is freeware -- a full program a no cost

Paint Shop Pro is a better program, but online registration is about $125 and the download only works for a bit over 30 days unless you register -- I don't recall that it's crippled other than than the time-out but I've been using a registered version for about 5 years. (version 6.0 instead of the 8.0? currently available.)
