Garrett looked at me as if I was crazy. It was a look that had grown quite common over the twenty plus years we'd known each other; growing up as babies, then toddlers, and now into the horny, hormone driven college seniors we were now. Admittedly, I think part of it was that the look wasn't entirely from him, but from someone who looked a lot like Sam Winchester from that 'Supernatural' show that everyone liked. It made him look a bit more intimidating, and it kind of threw me off, as if I was actually talking to a celebrity and not my childhood friend.
But the smile that came back was one he'd seen a lot, too, even if I was dressed like a police officer (even with some 'fake' handcuffs' on my belt) for this particular party. "Okay, okay, you've got me. This whole party was just to get all of the hot sorority girls and high school seniors to parade around like sluts. I don't care about halloween, I just want booze, bong, body shots, and booty!" He laughed, and then walked away, convinced for the moment as I continued to look around for my 'prey'.
After all, even if it was enjoyable to see all of the girls try to out do each other for costumes, I was only after one. After all, I was Mark Wake, and I didn't just settle for any random girl who paraded herself around for attention. I'd invited one in particular, and was keeping my eye out to see if she'd actually show her herself.
Well, I didn't invite her, but I invited her roommate. Let me explain.
This particular girl was a bit shy, but I'd seen her around campus and had agreed with a lot of the guys that she could be really hot to trot if she'd just 'let go' a bit, or get away from her supposedly protective boyfriend. However, I knew her roommate, and during conversation 'we' (or maybe it was just me) had come up with a plan to get her to come to the party in a revealing costume. I was skeptical of it working, but Amanda (the roommate) said she could do it, and so I left it in her capable hands.
My faith was rewarded with a text earlier in the day when Amanda said 'got her. You'll love what she's wearing, too...'
So technically I was looking for either one of them, really. Amanda, or the hottie who I was hoping to pry away from her boyfriend tonight. Walking around the foyer, through the crowds of people already laughing and drinking, I spotted her. Hopefully the innocent freshman wouldn't mind being chatted up by a senior...
