An Apology

Today I was feeling very down. One of my dogs (a German Shepherd - 60 pounds) mauled one of my other dogs (an American Eskimo - 12 pounds) last night. While the little one certainly deserved it (her nickname is Josephine Pesci because of her aggressive nature), the damage done almost killed her. I am beside myself with grief and guilt today.

Those that know BigDawg69, know he has a huge sweet heart. He and I have talked about our puppies quite a bit lately and this morning it was he that I turned to to relieve some of my fears and concerns. He helped lighten the load. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

I know he's recently had a rough ride as well. I thought I could cheer him up by letting him know that there are many beautiful sexy ladies out there that he's yet to meet or maybe has already met that are just biding their time until he's free. I didn't mean to imply that he and I have been hot & heavy. . .okay, maybe I did. . .maybe my head just wasn't in the right place today. I didn't mean any harm and I apologize if anyone got hurt by this thread.

For the record, I'm married to a man I've spent the last 10 years of my life with. I'm not about to give that up easily. I'm almost old enough to be Dawg's mom. . .well, maybe older sister. You get the point. I'm crazy about Dawg but I want him to find happiness with the right lady. I'm NOT that lady.

I guess the moral of the story is Don't Believe Everything You Read.
