swtbethie said:well assuming the electorial college votes as it state issues then keep it, but, if they resprt back to the days of Quincy Adams vs. Jackson them defiently ditch it. I mean come on, Henry Clay totally swung the vote for Qunicy Adams so he could become sec of state

But if we abolish the electoral collage, what will take its place?
Black_Bird said:Yes.
Why not? Well I'm sure someone will step into this thread and say something about states with smaller populations having less of an impact on elections, canidates only visiting cities on the East or West coast and how it's inherently unfair. I think that's a load of bullshit, personally; one man's vote shouldn't weigh more then another's just because they live in the back waters of the country.
KillerMuffin said:Oooh, good point.
Abolish the Senate.
KillerMuffin said:No, no, no. We're following BB's truly inspired ideal that it should all be one man one vote sort of thing. If that's so then we need to abolish the Senate. It's less efficient and costs more money to have two houses, particularly when it doesn't follow the whole ideal of one man one vote majority rule.

Can't we just have one purple country?
