Should I cut my hair?

I have been debating this for a long time. I know my husband likes my hair long. I like it too when I go out. But I have a 5 month old baby at home who likes to pull it. It reaches the middle of my back now, because it grew very fast while I was pregnant. Do men really prefer long hair? And why? Does it matter to a man if you have objects in you hair like clips or clasps, or would that be a turn off? What are your thoughts on this...

I advise against. Right after my daughter was born, I got feed up with her pulling my hair and the fact that I was just too lazy to stand in the bathroom for an 30 minutes using the blow dryer, and had mine cut (it was down to my waist). I liked it at first, then two months later, hubby and I got dressed up for an evening of dinner and dancing. I hated the hair, it just didn't feel right, didn't feel as sexy with it short. Needless to say, after complaining about it looking to butch, I let it grow back. It is now a little longer than shoulder length and will NEVER be shorter.

If you like your hair, don't let the frustration cause to you to change it, you'll regret it.

If you like it and hubby likes it, leave it long.

The baby will pull your hair no matter how long it is (unless you go for the bald look.) It's a phase all babies go through, and it doesn't last nearly as long as it might seem.

As for objects in your hair, it depends on how they look. I, personally, am not a big fan of hairpins, but there are some very attractive hair clasps and clips on the market.

Personal opinion but I like shorter hair on women. Not that I dont really like longer hair. But if you hubby and you both like it, then keep it.

Keep it long...why blow dry it...let it air dry...takes a little longer but wet hair can be sexy...and blow drying damages it...

Well, I'll not do much to ultimately solve this question, but my feelings -

Long hair is great, to have it drawn across your body makes for wonderful sensations. Clasps and clips for me are by no means a turn off, to the contrary, few things as erotic as removing a clip and allowing soft sensual hair to cascade down at the right moment(Mrs. South seems to like that as well)

Short hair - Oh my goodness! To have hands full of hair that is short, cut close to the scalp whew!!! Someone steady me.

As you can tell, I'm completely sold on both styles and find both to be very erotic and demanding of my attention, from tub to shower to bedroom.

And lastly, it'll all grow back, I promise.

been debating on whether or not to cut my hair. Mine is 1/2 way down my back too, and thick. It takes forever to blowdry and put up in hotrollers to get that luxurious loose sexy curl thing going on. I heard there's a blowdryer out on the market right now that can dry any length of hair in less than 5 min!!! I'd pay good money for that just to be able to wear my hair down all the time. As it is I end up twisting it and putting it up in order to keep it out of my face and lessen the amount of time it takes for me to prepare in the a.m.

If I get it cut, I'll only cut about 4 inches off and thin it out a bit. Whatever you do you should go slow, cut a little off here and a little off there and see how you like the gradual shortening of it instead of doing it all at once.

I'm with Drive South on this one. I care a lot less about the hair then what's under it, as long as its clean, and well groomed.

You are the one who has to be confortable with it, and the one who must invest the time to make it look the way you want it to. Do whatever you do to suit yourself. Life is to short to be trying to please all the folks you know, much us out here in cyberland. You are the one who has look at yourself in the mirror, and like what you see. We can't.

Thanks everybody! I think I may just go with a trim for now ... I am using one of those clamps to hold it up on top of my head at home now. That seem to make it a little harder for those vice like baby fingers to grab hold. I really do enjoy straightening and curling when we go out. I am afaid if I do get it cut, some of that "SEXY" feeling will go with it. So I guess putting it up may be best for now. I may decide in summer to do something else. If I ever get the nerve!
