I sent a story for approval about 2 days ago, and it has absolutely no views. Should I resend it or wait a little longer? It's usually approved by now, or the pending thing isn't clickable anymore. But right now, its still blue.

No, stories are not "usually" approved in two days--unless they are contest stories.

It says 72 hours, that means three days and that is usually. During a contest generally add a day if it is not for the contest. If you submit a contest story then it's accepted in a day or two I think. I've never submitted a story for the contests, I'm going for the little known longest running author to never enter a contest prize.

Now for the rest of it, don't read anything into anything. Your story is not posted yet because the posting hamster has gotten lost. Do not fret they have sent out a three hamster search team, course two hours later they sent out a six hamster search team for the first team. Never fear they will find the post hamster and get your story posted post haste. That means tomorrow unless you have the holy hand grenade.

Now if you have the holy hand grenade one must grip it firmly in thy left hand, not the right hand, not the slightly less left hand, but the left hand. While firmly clasping the holy hand grenade in thy left hand of the correct left, but not to firmly, thy hand must be able to let go of said holy hand grenade. As I was saying, while holding the holy hand grenade firmly, but not too firmly, one must spin about thrice, not twice, not once, but thrice and recite the holy prayer.

If you do not know the holy prayer, thou will be smited down. Do not ask me what the holy prayer is, I only know how to use the holy hand grenade. The "Pending" status not being clickable usually means Laurel has finished with it but it is still waiting for a slot to go up.

As for the dates, shit happens.
