Should Congress now create a handgun tax?

Many Americans still refuse to conceal carry a handgun. Since there is a proven and direct link between crime victimization, and not carrying a handgun to protect yourself, there is also a direct cost to Americans in rising health care costs to heal those who are injured in crimes where the individual was injured because they failed to protect themselves. Even more to the point, crime is encouraged in general by the criminal knowledge they can get by with violent crime, thereby increasing its prevalence.

To ensure the correct message is sent by our government to non carrying freeloaders, individuals should be required by expanded interpretation of the second amendment to be required to carry a handgun, or pay a tax to support the higher associated costs of their negligence of their community at large.

Tell that to all the part time people struggling just to put bread on the table. All they will see is, shit- I gotta pay more fuckin taxes cuz I can't afford $700 a month in goddam insurance premiums.

no its the insurance industry itself......how much are the premiums.....I said that didn't I? geeze, fuck the tax, thats easy...every day people will have to now subsidize all those folks with terminal and near terminal illnesses because they can now get it, thats the point....a guy who normally pays 150 per month for himeslf may see his rate jump to 250 cuz some overwieght shmuck with shitty health and diabetes can now get health coverage, that guy....if he can afford it may well be 1000 a month.....thats the point....eat or pay insurance....many people cannot afford to do that.
