I'm taking it as Trump listening to advice for once, about safety, his at the moment, lest we forget his famous confrontation at the Ellipse on J6.

You will recall his conversations over concerns that the rallygoers were not entering the ellipse to fill it like he wanted to–a large audience. When told some of the supporters were armed and wouldn't come through the magnetometers, he tried to order them removed.

Cassidy Hutchinson testified to his language at the event. “I don’t f-in’ care that they have weapons....” “They’re not here to hurt me. Take the f-in’ mags away. Let my people in. They can march to the Capitol from here.”

Prophetic words? “They’re not here to hurt me. Take the f-in’ mags away. Let my people in."

It became a different point of view when he felt the sting of a bullet meant to end his campaign. So, I believe it prudent for Trump to be concerned for his safety, not cowardice.

Tell me how you would feel if JD Vance now had to step into the ring as your next-level Republican offering. Just a few days and his ratings are in the toilet–lowest of any VP candidate in US history.

They were also the first to report he was suspicious after he failed to enter with the rest of the crowds and was seen to be carrying something in his hand (the range finder).

They didn’t convey the seriousness of the threat to the Secret Service in real time. (They just said there was a suspicious person in that area outside the Secret Service “hard perimeter”. (And, no, the Secret Service doesn’t have the personnel to cover a yuuuuuge outdoor venue - and budget slashing small government types bear responsibility for some of the Secret Service’s personnel issues.)



But hey, the FEMALE head of the Secret Service (who wasn’t even at the rally) was held responsible for EVERYTHING, while the MALE law enforcement personnel ON-SITE at the Trump rally are currently getting a free pass. (And notice how the RWCJ usual suspects are laying EVERYTHING at the feet of the FEMALES involved - focusing on the FEMALE agents who were shielding Trump just fine until that idiot forced himself upright for a photo-op and the FEMALE head of the Secret Service???)



Hell, even the MALE snipers who FAILED to take the shot for "reasons" before Crooks opened fire have pretty much been given a free pass.

Okay…I thought there was something going reasonable, a spark of reality in there somewhere. I was mistaken.

Your belief and opinion on what happened does not change the facts of what happened. That you would allow personal political ideology to color the events into what they weren't only shows that you're not fit to actually judge what went on.

It was a riot. Many of the people there were peaceful guests inside the building, a few were not and acted like assholes. The ONLY fatality was when and UNARMED Ashli Babbit was shot by the freaked out cop who NEVER should have been given a weapon in the first place.

IF it had been an actual insurrection the mob would have brought enough torches and pitchforks to make the mall cops be the ones to bleed. There would have been a military style campaign plan and the legislature would not have been able to escape capture.

NONE of that happened because it wasn't an insurrection. It was a "mostly peaceful" riot. You know, just like the George Floyd riots you supported.

I didn't support any of the riots because I know right from wrong without needing a cop on my shoulder.
