I had to sit down. How is this possible? It was Lucia just the other day, and we're only in the beginning of December, right? How can it be one week left to X-mas if it's the beginning of December?

Where did this month go?

And how the fuck am I supposed to scrape up another 56 points to beat MV in the Survivor Contest in only two more weeks???

i know....it's shocking! I thought i was terribly organised..till today when i realised i had christmas cards to send by the post(got them in the box today ) all my presents to wrap PLUS its my dad's 50th birthday this weekend so i am going back home for the weekend....so no weekend to do stuff in ...argh!


I'm not going to panic too much....i'm pretty much under control but still i am surprised at how christmas has crept up on me this year!

The single most advantageous thing about life on one's own, is that one can work at one's own speed.

In my case, I am able to celebrate Christmas when I can best fit it into my schedule. This year, that time should be approximately February 26th, or thereabouts.



It is a wonderful dream! Unfortunately my great nieces and great nephew have made other plans.

They will shanghai me, and then not release me until they have wormed a sufficient quantity of toys and books out of their Uncle Quasi.

Even that will not be enough for the voracious little buggers.

Once all the Holiday delights have been completed, they will drag me into Rec. Room, and we must enact out Christmas tradition.

Oh well if it makes you happier it's a lonely Christmas...my wife and children went home to visit both our families while I stay here and work. Before anyone has evil thoughts I sent her because the grandparents needed the grandkids and I have done christmas alone before. But, it just hit me last night, I'm spending friggin Christmas alone. Well that will give me time to add a few more stories Svenskaflicka...hehe.
