Shiva the Destroyer.

I think I'd almost prefer the live ones if they would just learn from the experience and never come back. It's pretty cute though that you cat would bring them home for the dog. Gives new meaning to interspecies cooperation.

My parent's current cat does it best though. She catches them and eats them whole. No fuss, no muss, no bother.

LOL Try finding a live one in your shoe at 6:00 a.m. where it's been hiding since getting away from the calico who brought it in during the night! GACK!! Damned thing brought in lots of rodentia during the nights which then became prey for the hunting beagle who would go on full cry indoors the next morning. When I'd finally find the damned things hiding under the furniture, beagle'd eat 'em in a single snap.

Ah, the joys of pet ownership.

I don't think you two get it. It's not cooperation. It's entertainment. The cat brings in the rodent, the humans go crazy trying to find it and the dog obediently goes berzerk with the whole house erupting in chaos. I'll bet dimes to dollars that the cat was sitting somewhere with a good vantage point, just enjoying to show. :D

Just so.

I've never had a cat that bought me a present more than once. I'm pretty sure it's because I didn't freak.
