Kara was 25yrs old and this would be her first trip to the Fall's where the lacanthrops met once every 4yrs, to mate or simply gather together. From her studies and what she had discovered over the last few years knew that this would be the only chance she had to study them..unless she waited another 4yrs.

As they were in the jungle she had narrowed the speceies down to. jaguar's, Harpy Eagle's, the fox, and possably the horned owl, but knew that it was possable for there to be other creatures forms that the Lycans had taken aside from just the ones she was thinking.

As she headded off twords the Fall's she wondered if perhaps the Shifters or Lycans wernt the Mayans and Incas, or the Guaraní Indians who had dissapeared with out a trace over 100's of years ago, or perhaps another people entirly who had been here before them.

Kara is 5ft 4in weighing about 130 lbs she is slender of build with musculer arms, and legs from hiking and backpacking thro jungles and forrests. Her breasts are high full, and ferm. She has long black hair that hits just past her waist when down with dove gray almost silver eyes, and darkly taned skin from being out in the sun and weather.

Slowly emerging from the thick vegetation, multitudes of lush shurbery, and vines hanging from the trees. Kara looked around, seeing no other's around she continued. There was still plenty of daylight, and she didnt expect to see any Shifters until the moon arose, but then from what she had read if they were old enough then they cold change at anytime..If they were even real she reminded herself just because she hoped they were didnt make it so.

The sunlight was coming threw the trees she could hear the roaring sounds of the falls, and feel the spray of the water as it fell into the pool below. Working her way down the rocks to the pool she was careful not to slip on the rocks, it was hot, and steemy in the Jungle, and the water below looked very inviting she thought.

Kara knelt by the pool dipping her hand in the water she pourd the water down the vally between her breast's, getting her shirt wet, and over her neck. Trying to cool her body some not having any luck.

Thinking herself alone Kara sat down her pack, and begain to remove her tan colord tangtop and shorts along with her socks shoes and undergarments. Laying the knife she had carried with her for protection on the edge of the rocks with in easy reach should she need it, she reached up and unwound the braid in her hair.

The water shimmerd in the sunlight as it ran down her soft skin, and lower still to the shadowed place between her legs where she Knelt, bringing some releif from the hot sun to her body.

Her hair flowing around her the tips barly touching the water, as she splashed more on her face droplets ran down her throat to the creamy swell of her breast's.

Taking her time she wondered where the best place for her to hide would be and noticed a small indention large enough for her small persion to sit on beneath the falls and looking at it from all angles she knew she could stay hidden their in the dark as long as their eyesight was the same as hers but she didnt have a choice if she watned to learn the truth.

Her partner only scorned and laughed at her for her ideas and had refused to allow her to take a team with her for protection saying that if she brought back some sort of proof he might beleive her. It had hurt that he had turned his back on her after 4yrs of recerch and working together and laughed but she was determind and after calling him an ass gathered her things and made her way here.

The water and the noise of the falls would mask her sent and any noise she might make.. and she wondered how many lecanthrops, Male and Female that there would be if they came..

Arising from her kneeling position, she picked up the dagger, and dove into the water taking it with her incase a snake or other creature had made itself comfortable in that area, and to take a closer look to make sure that there would be enough room for herself and her pack on the ledge.

ooc: Hows this?

Ic: Rimac was young. Very young for a Lycan. The majority of his tribe could be classed as elders by most living today. By contrast, little Rimac was only 19 years of age, and full of curiosity. So much so that his tribal elders tried to keep him close to at least two others as he had been known to dissappear from time to time.

This was one of those times. Assuming his bestial form of the jungle Jaguar as he was prone to do, he had slipped away in order to investigate what he had only heard referred to as the "sacred place". Obviously, he reasoned, the elders did not consider Rimac to be of age to have the secret knowledge of the place given to him. But that hadn't dulled his curiosity.

Rimac was fairly small in his jaguar form, being only 5 feet in length, excluding his tail and only 62cm tall. He was still quite powerfully built like most of the animals who'se form he had taken. His large, white paws found purchase with every step, which propelled him through the jungle with ease and speed.

It was not long before his acute hearing picked up the sound of the falls. Rimac knew that this was the "sacred place" as it was the only place where water fell from such a height for quite some distance. Knowing he was close, his heart beat faster, and he strained his muscles to move him even faster toward his goal.

When he arrived, however, Rimac found something he did not expect. Clothes. Not quite the same sort of thing his tribe wore when they wore their human forms, but still identifiable as clothing of some kind. The odd thing was that he could not see anyone in them, and their previous owner had obviously not been killed and eaten while wearing them.

Curiosity taking over once more, Rimac's powerful jaguar form boldy made it's way out to where the pile of belongings were, keeping his large green eyes on them the whole time, and sat down next to them, so lost in thaught as to who they belonged to that he payed absolutly no attention to what was in the water...

Kara watched the Jaguar that emerged from the shrubery and debated wether or not to stay where she was. Being naked even armed with the knife she would still be an easy target. Quietly she watched as the Jaguar made its way twards her clothing sniffing and smelling around.

It wasnt until he moved to inspect her pack that she reolized he couldnt find her sent due to the water, she could slip into the water, and surprise him and possably scare him off but if he was a shifter then she would have lost her own advantage in waiting here at the falls. Giving a small sigh she settled in on the ledge to wait and see if the Jaguar would leave on its own.

Rimac stopped examining the clothing after a short while. He had the feeling that whoever they belonged to was indeed not dead and that, in all likleyhood, probably close by. Whoever thay belonged to, Rimac's curiosity pushed him to meet them.

Craning his animalistic head up, he strained to see the high sun through the green canopy. It was not too late in the day, and quite probably he would have time for a short rest while waiting for the mysterious owner to return for their clothing.

Looking around quickly, Rimac found a sturdy tree to climb and, after a few seconds of scrabbling, lazilly perched himself on the branch, trying to look as unthreatening as possable to those that would notice him, but still enough that the casual observer would miss him completly. Resting his chin on the branch, he kept his green eyes fixed on the bundle of clothes below

Cascall

The panther kept his presence hidden from the female taking a bath. He was curious as why an alone woman was taking a bath at the falls. It could be dangerous. He decided to keep a silent watch over her as there was a risk that more dangerous creatures could appear.

Suddenly he saw movement and a jaguar appeared. It took interrest in the pile of clothes the woman have left on land. The jaguar did not notice the woman or the panther at all. The water would cover up the woman´s scent and the wind was in the panther´s favor to keep his scent from the jaguars sensitive nostrils.

The jaguar was Lycan and so was the panther. His name was Cascall. A powerfully built black man in human form. He was 34 yars old and a loner. he was also very familiar with this jungle. He saw that the woman had noticed the jaguar and was hesitant as what to do with this situation. Cascall lay still in the tree as he surveyed what would happen next. still unsure if the jaguar was dangerous or not. He looked rather young and Cascall knew he could disarm any threat he would pose, if he was fast and reacted quickly. When the jaguar retreated to a branch to watch the pile of clothes a grunt escaped the panthers mouth. It could be read as a short laugh. He lay still to observe who would make the first move. The jaguar or the woman.

Snake?

OOC: Let me know if this is too far off....
PIC IS A HUGE PYTHON (African Rock actually)... just to give you an idea...
it is an electricial cow fence the snake is hung up on...

IC:
Basking on a large rock the Python soaks up the heat to help digest her meal...
the 2 strays made a good snack...Her eyes never closing, she notices a strange series of events...
A human... then a cat, then another....
my my what an odd get together....
she thinks, not moving yet watching & also flicking her tounge out to sniff every so often...
Not much bothers her, she knows most beasts will steer clear of her as she has been known to kill for the sheer pleasure of it & leave the body for the hyena's & vultures...She is almost 15 feet long and about a 2 feet thick, with jaws that can crush ribs, She strikes quickly & anything taken into her coils has no chance as her length quickly wraps around it fiercely to constrict...
A time of yearning to mate has drawn her near this place...
If she doesn't mate this year in animal form, the change back to her human form may stay permanant which is something she does not wish... unless the human that came could take her back & teach her ways of their kind...

Kara waited beneath the falls, for the jaguar to leave and didnt see it climb up onto a tree branch nearby, and stayed beneath the falls for a while longer to make sure it had left.

Quietly she eased her way down into the water knife in hand, before diving down and swimming under the water beneath the falls, back twords the ledge where her clothing, and pack were sitting.

Breaking the surfice of the water comming up for air, she layed her hands on the rocky ledge and carefully looked around not yet getting out of the water. Upon looking up she noticed the Jaguar in the tree and cursed..damn it Now what do i do.. she thought two options get out and pray it dosent eat you or .. or what?...Try to swim to the other side and make myself a target to get eaten?? ok option a sounds best..

Eyeing the jaguar carfully she kept her movements slow and did her best to hide her fear, not wanting to provok it into attacking her, as she climbed up out of the water. Knowing that she probably looke extreamly rediculas having nothing but the knife.

Seeing the movement in the water the Snake watches the human seem to wonder of her options.... Adjusting a bit on the rock to see a bit better she flicks her tounge out & sniffs the air again...Being down wind of it, I can smell them all hopefully the cats do not smell her fear... the Snake is curious as to what this human wants with us in this most scared of places...

The panther kept his eyes on the woman as she climbed out of the water. The smell of fear was thick in the air and he wondered if the young Lycan in jaguar form had mastered the primal instincts of the predator. The panthers muscles tensed as he was prepared to interrup any attacks from the jaguar if he would let the urge to attack commence.

The smell of fear was so sweet and if Cascall hadn´t been so old in the game he may had rushed in and killed this woman and feasted on her flesh. Instead he just lay still and observed whatever happens next. His senses reaching out, both to the woman and the jaguar.

Rimac sat in his branch and observed, and it wasn't long before he saw the one who had probably left the bundle of clothes. It was a girl, but not like those of his tribe. This one was of fairer skin, yet seemed to have quite a powerful body! Perhaps she belonged to another tribe near here? No. No, that was not likley given the style of her clothing

Rimac slowly blinked, then noticed something that may or may not be good - she had spotted him, and she had a blade in her grasp. She was moving slowly, which Rimac knew most did when trying not to provoke a predator. So she thaught he might attack her? Well, he did appear as a jaguar, so, he reasoned, that wasn't too far fetched. How best to put her mind at ease?

Deciding on a course of action, Rimac moved on his ranch, deliberatly making a noise so that the woman would know he was moving, his curiosity overiding his primal insticts. He jumped out of the tree, facing away from the woman, landing gracefully on his front paws, his rear paws touching down after. Turning around, he was pleased to see that she was still there, looking at him. Blinking slowly once, Rimac layed down on his side, appearing as unthreattening as possable, while his green eyes tried never to leave her form

Niabi

A tawny colored female mountain lion snaked her way through the underbursh. She was lycan, and although young, had proven herself worthy of knowing the secret location by the elders. She had been travelling there in her animal form, although she knew she must stand out as mountain lions weren't native to jungle terrain. However, travel was faster and safer this way.

In her human form she was native american. Long black hair cascaded to her slim waist matched by her dark peircing eyes. She looked young, only about 20 or so. And her body was slim, athletic, but with nicely shaped breasts.

She belonged to a different tribe. Consisting of mostly native americans, they lived seperated in the wild westerns of their native homeland. She was a loner, like most of her tribe, almost prefering to live in the wild in her animal form. But this year she was one of the Chosen. She alone had made the journey from her tribe to this new wilderness for the sake of her lycan family.

She padded along the semi shadows of the jungle until something caught her attention. She heard something, her feline self wanted to investigate. But she was wary, and stayed in the camoflouge of the underbrush. She fought the urge to let out a soft growl as she caught the scent of on older lycan, and that of a careless younger one.

A black dragon with a set of silver scales on his head set down softly near a pond created by a waterfall. He looked around, tilting his head slightly, and caught sight of a human looking very frightened and vulnerable. He looked up, and spotted the source of the human's fear, a jaguar lycan in a tree. He shook his head, then started to slip into the water, intending to clean his scales before the gathering. He ignored the human, knowing there was nothing she could do to him.

A soft sigh escaped him, as the cool water started to slip into his scales, cooling his body even as his higher body heat started to cause the water to heat up. He opened his eyes, then looked at the human. "He won't hurt you, if you lower the knife, miss."

His voice was soft, but carried well even over the sound of the waterfall. He regarded the young woman with interest, wondering how she had found this place, and what she was there for.

Kara had been intent on watching the Jaguar as it decented from its branch and hadnt seen the dragon enter into the water, so when its head emerged and it spoke to her she jumped and cursed dropping the dagger to the ground.. Her eyes wide with a combination of fear and curiosity...

She had immagened wolves , foxes, jaguars and many more things but hadnt thought of a dragon and why not...its just as far fetched to her kind as Lycans were. Recvering herself slightly as she eased her way twards her clothing she said.uhhh thank you. Doing her best to watch both the Jaguar and the dragon the more she watched them however the more her fear begain to dissapear and her curiosity as a scinetist begain to take over.. tho her fear was still there it was minamal compared to her excitment.

Rimac rolled back onto his paws and stood up slowly. The sacred place really was starting to fill up with others. But the woman still held his interest. If he could speak in his current form, he would try to reassure her that he was no threat. As it is, the best he could do was approach slowly. So that is what he did. Keeping his body high so as not to appear to be stalking her as possable prey, he slowly padded closer to Kara. He could tell she was still a little worried, so when he was about 2 feet away, he stopped and sat down. From this distance, he could smell her scent faintly, and it was almost intoxicating for the young lycan.

Looking up into her eyes, Rimac layed down on the ground infront of Kara, displaying that he was no threat

The dragon grinned at the young woman's reaction, and then bowed his head. Once his body was sufficiently cooled, he got up out of the water, and sat down on the stones. He bowed his head again, and introduced himself.

"My name is Tai. I am a Draconic, a Lycan who can assume the form of a dragon. And your name might be?" He still spoke quietly, hoping not to frighten her further, as he sat there, watching her. His tail twitched slightly, thumping against the ground.

Niabi

She knew something was up. The dragon didn't suprise her, she knew that there were many forms that others like her could assume. She was angry at the others gathered here. The ones who had dared reveal themselves to the human! And the fact that there was a human, one that could ruin it all for her kind in the most sacred of places.

She emerged from her hiding spot, her feline body lean and muscular. She growled in anger at the young one... the foolish one...the curious one. But she was not stupid. Her claws remained sheathed.

Kara

Kara dressed still watching the Jaguar as he came closer and layed down, and relized that he or she was trying to show her that it was mearly curious, and didnt yet wish to attack her, she stood slowly having finished dressing and listened as the dragon introduced its self. My name is Tai. I am a Draconic, a Lycan who can assume the form of a dragon. And your name might be?"

Kara couldnt beleive her ears.. it was true at least part of her theroy.. She and her partner had origonaly come to investagate the runes, and write up their thesis, but she had discoverd some anchent writings that had led her and her partner to debt and argue. I cant beleave it .. its true then your kind truly dose exist.. i had thought so from the writings in the runes .. this is fantastic... I have sevral questions i would love to ask if i may.. she said excitedly.. ohhh and my name is Kara Jennings..

Connor made his way slowly through the jungle. He was the first of his tribe to attempt this journey. Many of them never last their homeland, but he had always been adventurous. His sandy hair was becoming plastered to his back and face from sweat and humidity, but he trudged on.

He heard voices ahead and followed them, coming upon a truly strange sight. A human woman bathing in a pool with a dragon beside her. Also in the area were a panther, a jaguar, and a mountain lion.

Connor laughed loud enough for the whole group to hear him as he leaned up against a tree. "Well, well, well," he crooned, his Irish accent very apparent. "Were it not for the fact that I've seen many a strange thing in my time, this would truly be a sight to set the heart crossways inside of me."

Tai shook his head, grumbling at the young panther. He looked at her calmly, scoffing slightly. "You should relax, girl. No enemies here. At least, not yet, anyways." He laughed slightly at his joke.

Tai nodded slowly, laying back on the stones, and watching the young woman. He had to admire her courage, or the power of her curiosity. He smiled, and looked at her, appraising her. When he spoke, it was with the same calm, almost cold tone. "Ask your questions, Milady, and I shall do my best to answer them." He closed his eyes, listening, and able to see her without using his eyes.

Still sitting on my basking rock I watch as the other human stumbles in across the water...
My goodness how many of them are coming??? I hope they do not scare any of my kind that may have made it this far... Oh no, what if they killed them on the journey here, out of fear...
Thinking She is an easy target on the basking rock the large snake slowly shifts into the shadows of a nearby tree, hopefully unseen...

Cascall couldn´t believe what was happening. This gathering, and for what? A human female. He growled loudly and leaped down from the tree. Landing smoothly on his paws with the sure agility of his species. He lazily moved over to the group of peaple and his panther eyes scanned them over.

It wasn´t so smart to show their existance to a stranger. But now it was to late. He looks at the dragon with the black scales with narrowing eyes. then his form changes from the panther he prefers to be to the long black man with piercing blue eyes. The change only takes a moment and he seems unafected by his own nudity. His eyes linger over the woman, dressing herself before turning his gaze back to the dragon.

"I do not think this jaguar would attack her. Even if it was his attention. I had things under control."

Kara looked around her and noticed that another cat looking much like a Mt. lion seemed to be scolding the Jaguar near her, and she took a step back not out of fear but out of caution sensing the hostility coming form the Mt lion.

Hearing Tai's scoffing she scaned the area and noticed that there were sevral other Lycans around as well some hidden others not...and said. Its alright i dont blame him or her for their hostility.. i understand where it comes from.. and i would feel the same way in his or her shoes.. er paws..

Kara ment what she sad she wouldnt want any humans around ether especally sence Scientists would do tests and lock them up or use them as wepons, and that was the last thing she wanted to happen.

What she learned she fully intended to keep to herself planning on telling her partner he had been right and she had found nothing, but at least she would have the satisfaction of knowing the truth.

Feeling Tai's apprasel of her Kara met his eyes with her own as he spoke. "Ask your questions, Milady, and I shall do my best to answer them." She watched as he closed his eyes.

Before she could ask her first question however she heard someone laugh and turned to see a man standing not far away leaning against one of the trees. "Well, well, well," he crooned, his Irish accent very apparent. "Were it not for the fact that I've seen many a strange thing in my time, this would truly be a sight to set the heart crossways inside of me." His comment leaving Kara to wonder if she were being insulted or not.. She didnt think so but one could never tell.

Whoever he was he didnt seem surprised by the dragon or the lycans around the falls and wondered if he himself was a Lycan but had mearly chosen to appear in human form..or if perhaps there were some humans that were trusted but not manny. There were so manny possablitlys that her head hurt, and she had to sit down a moment.

Sighing soflty she looked up at Tai, deciding that the man against the tree would ether prove frendly or hostle on his own, and asked.. Are your people the Mayans and Incas, or the Guaraní Indians who had dissapeared with out a trace over 100's of years ago, and how do you keep track of the different speacies and the amounts in each... class or species.? Those were only two of the questions she had to ask, but they were the main ones and the most important to her.

Kara couldnt keep her eyes from the beautiful black panther that emerged and watched as it changed into an extreamly attractive black man with long black hair and blue eyes. Seeing his nudity she blushed and looked away back twards Tai trying her best not to stair. "I do not think this jaguar would attack her. Even if it was his attention. I had things under control." Hearing his comment however caused her to blush even more as she reolized he must have been watching her for some time.

Tai listened to the Irishman, shaking his head, and then focused his attention on the young woman again. He listened quietly to her questions, and closed his eyes in thought. He slowly shook his head. "I can't speak for all of us, however, I have none of the bloodlines you ask about. As for how many of us there are, and how many species...I believe that the first of our kind were humans who could assume the forms of various animals. Eventually, they stayed in them so long that it was more along the lines of animals who could assume the form of humans. Tracking the number of species, or the number of members of each species would be like trying to track a specific bloodline using nothing but historical documents. Next to impossible."

He smiled, and opened his eyes, watching her. He was amused by this young woman, more so than he had been in a long time.

Cascall folds his arms as he surveys the scene in front of him when he sees some movement in the corner of his eye. He slightly turns his head and spots a rather big snake crawling away. Having seen shifters simular to the snake he immediately recognises it for what it is. The snake´s head turns to look at them as it crawls away. Cascall smiles slightly and nods in recognition to it.

He turns back to the woman. "Before answering questions. Who are you and why are you here? Sightseing?"

She saw one of the panthers transform. But she wasn't ready yet. She didn't know what this humans intentions were, or if she even knew what she had stumbled onto. With this being her first journey, she didn't want the human female to ruin it.

Still in her mountain lion form she took a couple more padded steps forward.
