After finding LIt's resident ropework personna's thread, I offer it as a damn good resource, holding invaluable advice, tips, and links to things of an instructional nature.

You should check out Graydancer's Ropecast. It is a podcsast that u can find on iTunes. It's free and if you don't have an iPod or mp3 player, you can always listen to it on your computer or burn a cd.
As for rope, I have heard that TwistedMonk.com is great. They also have a cool site.
