I thought everybody on the forum had heard of this guy. If you lived in AZ, you would have.

I rely on you guys for the headlines about important political stuff. I’ve only looked at a few threads, may have missed other news about him.

PacNW. Is Arizona really a state? Does anyone live there?

Yes, it is a state and yes lots of people live there. Almost as many as live in Washington and a couple million more than live in Oregon.

In fact, it is snowing here at the moment.

As someone who lives in the territory formerly known as the "State of Arizona", I can tell you definitively it is no longer an actual functioning state. It is a failed state.

The southern portion of this region is now known as Baja Arizona. People living there are hoping that President Trump will build his big and beautiful wall just north of their border, in order to exclude invaders from a particularly ugly region known as "Maricopa County".

"Maricopa County" still claims to be a "state", but is actually a dystopic nightmare. To answer the other part of your question, no, humans do not live there, only replicants live there.

One of them, named Joe Arpaio, intends to run for the Senate to represent this failed "state", but even most replicants assert that he does not have the chance of a fart in a hurricane.

Maricopa County (Phoenix) is the steaming, fuming septic tank into which all Arizona's sins are flushed and none escape. My sisters live north of there in Prescott (the old mountainous capitol) and south of there in Tucson (like Los Angeles without an ocean). The plaintive cry of Tucsoneños is, "At least we're not in Phoenix."

I lived down on the border (well, 5 miles away) in Cochise County, home of Bisbee, Tombstone, Ft Huachuca, Geronimo, the north ends of some tunnels, and many checkpoints. Bisbee is a freak city in the middle of nowhere. The rest of the region is insane. And the mercado in Nogales is running dry.

Arizona has failed as a state several times before. This is only the latest fuckover. Sad.
