I saw something like that at the building supply store when I was ranting about the problem. Would they hold on with a special glue or is it already affixed on the back for easy installation

Most versions come with double sticky tape, either pre-applied or in a separate "parts bag." Some require four screws in the corners and are sized to match the wall studs -- It seems to me that these would be the strongest and longest lasting.

(PS: dropping a piece of 2x4 or similar solid object on the floor next to thdoor stop works to prenvent holes in the wall too.)

Yes. then coat with stain killer and a good latex paint. If you use stain killer your will only use one coat of latex.

If you have a boyfriend, a husband, or someone who you want to fuck who works new construction, sheetrock is your friend. When the sheetrock comes in, before it is hung, it is piled high on the floor, making platforms. These "platforms" are a great place to fuck, sit, sneak a dube, or eat lunch; hell it's like a couch. Yeah, that's right, before the walls go up, they get tested by my ass. . .it's a dusty job, but someone's got to do it.
