11 days, the baby is going to be about an estimated 6 pounds

no real problems i just think her gyn screwed up the dates, when she had figured out she had concieved, we came to the 24th as due date

her first doctors appointment said th 15th

her subsequent visits said the 5th

i guess nothing is an exact science

Six pounds? Isn't that little? It sounds like the dates might have gotten confused; I don't think babies that are late are usually that small.

thanks I am going to be with her in in mind only, I wish I could be there in body but she just wants her mom there

it is a bit on the small size i prefer a good 8 pound birth but in the last 2-3 weeks there has been no increase in size, so the doctors concented amongst themselves after some cervical exams to to induce. if it isn't growing on the inside, lets get it growing on the outside.

its healthy and momma is healthy from all accounts, so i don't think it will be anything to major, one of the better pregnancies I have seen going into it

I don't understand why drs even attempt to guess a babies weight before birth..

I was told my 8 lb 15 ounce son was going to be a tiny 6 lbs or so. I was told my tiny 6 lb 8 ounce son was going to be a whopping 10 lbs.

And all of the due dates were wrong also.. but they wouldn't listen to me.. like I don't know when I got pregnant or something.
