** This is hopefully a multi-player RP that evolves as life does. If you want to play just write yourself in. ***

Sara has always been a bit out there. She is what many call a dtiz. She has long blonde hair and usually lost in her thoughts. Luna Lovegood was her nickname in high school, from Harry Potter. Like Luna, Sara turns out to have more on the ball than most.

She applied to one college and was accepted. A small liberal arts college in the mountains of Idaho, nobody ever heard of. That was the point. Old stone building nestled in a high valley. Summer was beautiful when she visited. Grass and flowers everywhere. When she arrived in late August the winds were already starting to chill her southern California skin. She loved it though and unpacked and fell in love with remoteness and cloistered studious culture.

Sara as tall and willowy with surprisingly pale skin for being from Santa Clara. She read a lot and rarely went out without her parasol and plenty of sun screen. Her eyes were crystal blue like the water she had seen in the nearby river they had walked by in her summer visit. Her hair was like golden thread and hung straight to her lower back.

Her father left giving her a hug and kiss. Things had always been awkward between them and her mother could not even go to drop her off. Their relationship was estranged as well. Sara not a mean or bad person, just lost in her thoughts you might say.

Her roommate was not arriving until the next day so she decided to try and find that river she had visited earlier in the summer. She pulled on jeans and a long sleeve yellow tee shirt. She could have been a model with her nonplussed attitude and lazy way. She pulled on her converse high tops and decided to leave her parasol and sunscreen behind. It was forested and she was feeling free of the sheltered home her mother made for her growing up.

She took the book she had bought for the ride up. "The Fifth Season" was a fantasy book she was enjoying. She grabbed her room key and headed out.

Down the three flights of stairs and out into the small courtyard she went passing under the stone archway and up a path leading into the woods. She was fairly confident this was the way and if not, it was a lovely day for a walk.

The river was further than she had remembered but she managed to find it. She was alone at the beautiful mountain stream that cascaded down the mountain. The path was cut by students for years as the forest was thick along it giving a hidden castle feel as she reached the end of the path and the start of the large rocks. She climbed a few rocks to a shaded spot and took the meditation lotus position and closed her eyes. She listened to the water falling down the mountain and splashing only a few feet from her. She felt at peace and alone and happy as she ever had. She felt free.
The crack of a branch brought her out of her calm meditation as she looked around.

"OH no, I am not frightened" the willowy blonde said in her soft gentle voice. "I am Sara" she said extending her hand with her thin fingers to shake. "Do you go to school here?" she asked assuming everyone around he did.

"Oh" she says a bit confused. "Well it's nice to meet you anyway" she says with a smile.

"It is" She beams at the stranger. "Do you come here often?" she asks. Looking at the man she is unsure what to make of him.

Forest Ranger

Mike Preston hikes up the hill following the river. Several fires had been spotted and reported in the area over the post two months. His team leader had told him to keep an eye on the river area. As he gets closer to the college he hears voices. A man and a woman.

Sara hears something in the woods not far off.
"Hello?" she calls out but her voice is so soft it hardly can be heard over the water.
"I wonder who that is?" she says to the man sitting next to her.

Forest Ranger

Mike Preston jumps out from the bushes. "This is Ranger Mike! Only you can prevent wild fires." He turns and runs back into the forest out of sight.

Sara looks at the man next to her having seen this man jump out then declare "only you can prevent forest fires" and then jump back disappearing into the bushes. She burst out laughing and got to her feet running to where the man had been but seeing no trace returned.
"Well I better get back, it's getting late. I didn't catch your name, I am Sara" the tall blonde said again holding her hand out to shake.

"that's OK I can find my way" she said not quite sure what to make of this man who was not a student but was here in the woods, far from anywhere. "Where do you think Forest Ranger Mike went?" Sara asked bendng over and peering into the woods.

Sara walks back down the trail pondering the strangers she met in the woods. The twenty minute walk was easier than it had been coming up. The shadows played with her imagination as she thought she heard motion in the woods. She turned a corner and laughed at herself for being nervous as she saw the school in the distance.

maybe

Skipper or Skip as he would rather be called. He always hated that name and thought it sounded like a girls name. Funny thing he was a little slightly built and had softer features for a guy. He did his best to keep himself in shape and swam. His parents made him do sports to keep him out of trouble. Walking along the walkway trying to find his way to his new dorm at this “god forsaken” collage his parents picked. They told him it was out of the way and he could focus on school. He know it was because it was cheaper.

Head down looking at the map of the campus he had printed he did notice the girl walking up the path off in the distance. Maybe she know her way around this place. Skip Wave and calls out “HeY…Hey you”

"Hi" Sara said with a big smile at the boy who called her. "I'm Sara" she said walking quickly to the young man.

meeting

Looking up as the girl comes closer. "Hey Sara" tilting his head a little as he gets a better look at her. His mind drifts for a moment thinking, she is pretty and there is something about her that seems different. Pretty but not made up like those cheerleader slut back home. More natural and soft.

"Hi Sara I am Skip" Not bothering to reach a hand out more preoccupied with this girls looks and trying to find his way. Holding the poorly printed map up. "I am trying find my dorm my note says building "C" but nothing on this makes sense. do you know you way around this stupid place?"

"Well I do, as long as you don't call it stupid" she said with a smile. "Building C is the freshman dorms. I do know where that is, but not much more. Come on" she said stepping towards the stone arch. She looked down on Skip who was shorter than her, bus she didn't care about anything as shallow as appearances.
"I just came from the river, I can show you tomorrow if you want?" she said excited to have a friend. "Why so down on this place? After California I think it's awesome!" she said happily. She walked up to the door and pulled it open for him. "Do you need help with your stuff?" she asked with a smile.

Shaking his head “I am sorry I don’t really mean that just a little frustrated.” Looking down at his handful of books and the little pull along bag he was dragging. “oh.. umm no I got it” A little smile crept across his lips. Thinking she is nice and friendly. God I can be a jerk sometimes. “A river that sounds cool, I would love to see it if you are ok with it” shuffling his feet a little. Skip has never really been that comfortable talking to girls. “Not really down on the place more the reason I am here. My parents wanted me someplace quite and out of the way” His little smile widening, “oh Cali cool I am from Nevada a little dirt hole called Pahrump. Skip followed Sara into the building “Hey thanks, After I find my room can I get you a coffee or something to say thank you?” Skip blurts.

"Sure" Sara says excitedly. "What room are you in?" she asks having nothing else to do. "I am in 203, but I have nothing to do so I will just come with you now, if that's OK?" she said. "I don;t mean to crowd you, I can let you settle in, I am just excited to meet new people. I lived a fairly sheltered life in high school" she explained looking down with a shy look. Surprising from such a beautiful woman. She switched the hands holding her book and waited to see what Skip wanted to do.

“Oh cool, I am in “ taking a deep breath and looking down at the note he wrote on the map. “210. Not far away from you it seems.” Skip looks up at the doors and the sign on the wall looking for the room numbers “No no not crowding me at all. Lets find my room and I can toss this stuff in and we can find someplace” He was sure she would say no. Still surprised, Skip trying to compose himself a little not wanting seem like a “dork” looking back to this pretty girl “After you and we can get going” As he starts to follow Sara "So where in California are you from?"

Sara smiled happy to be talking with someone she could relate to.
"Santa Clara" she said smiling down at Skip. "Nevada that must be hot? And you did not want to come here? It's so beautiful here. I love it. Can't wait for the snow and snuggle in with a cup of tea and a good book" her smile was amazing, innocent and real with such stunning eyes, you fell into whatever she was saying like a spell.
"Do you know your roommate?" she asked as they arrived at the door marked "210". "Home sweet home" she said cheerfully.

Arriving at the room just behind Sara, Skip is mesmerized listening to her as she talks. Popping out of his trance like state "Santa Clara, cool you could and gone to Stanford..but you came here" stopping as he fumble with the door and working the new key to open the door " Ya it is hot there but the reason I don't like..."Skip stops not wanting to bring up all the real reason his parents sent him here. "No I have not meet them yet I heard someone would be here in the next few days.
Skip looks around the modest room, typical layout two beds a small divider and a couple of dressers. Tossing his thing on the bed near the only window in the room "well This is me I guess" turn to Sara looking into and getting lost in her eyes a moment pausing. "uh ya ok coffee right. you are still up for it I hope" Skip blushes a little "umm do you know of anyplace near by" Skip pulls out his phone and tries to search places.

Sara looks as Skip as he nervously flips through his phone. She reaches her hand out and covers it. "We don;t have to get coffee" she offers. "We could just hang out here." She has fantasized of this for so long. Her mother never let her out of her site. This was the least exciting school she could find for Sara and the roommate she somehow fixed her up with was more of a nun than a college student.
"My parents sent me here to keep me out of trouble" she said as her hand remained on his on the phone as they awkwardly stood looking at each other. Sara's heart raced as she wanted to do this. She wanted to kiss a boy.

Letting his phone lower as Sara placed her hand over it "umm ya..we could just hang out here and get to know each other" his eyes fixed on hers. Skips mind racing as he stood there. In truth Skip had only been with one woman before. Part of the reason he had been sent here.

Their hands touching he could feel a warmth a draw of sorts his mind filled with desire suddenly, he wanted her he wanted to kiss her.

A little awkwardly Skip let his hand linger on hers as he thought maybe she feels.."Sara" Skip whispers softly "Please don't slap me" with that Skip leaned in and gives Sara a soft kiss on the lips. Pausing long enough to feel some passion then pulls away "stuttering a little "umm that is for helping me"

Sara smiled as she opened her eyes. "You don't have to thank me, but if you want to again it is OK" she said as her body filled with the feelings she had only known late at night alone in her bed. She stepped forward and said "It's OK" as she leaned down and kissed him again. This time he had no choice and she slipped her tongue between his lips. She slid her hand up his arm and took his face in her hands as she hoped she was doing this right.
She broke the kiss after thirty seconds smiling at him. "I hope that was OK" she said starting to talk faster. "I hope you don;t have a girlfriend or something..." she stepped back and bit her nail nervously afraid to look at him.

Not expecting Sara to return the kiss and even more surprised she kissed him again. Skip looking up at the taller girl after the kiss still tasting her tongue on his.

"no..no girl friend. It was " stammer a little "it was perfect" Skip feeling the kiss knowing if he did not try now he felt he would not get another chance. And there was no way he wanted his only sexual experience to be with his mothers best friend.

Reaching an arm around Sara Skip lifted up and kissed her again this time long letting his tongue find hers. Pulling their bodies closer as he kissed her. Breaking the kiss but still holding her close "I..I can stop Sara..I ..you do something to me"
