do you do it? always? special occasions?

do you use some other hair removal method?

or do you prefer to be au naturale?

are your habbits normal or strange for your culture?

Usually. I shave when the hairs become visible. I'm Asian. So my legs aren't very hairy, but the hair is dark.

I hardly have any hair on my thighs/upper legs, so sometimes I skip those areas.

I shave when I am going to be wearing shorts or a skirt and I shave about once a week just to be smooth. I am blonde so my hair is faint. It's nice.

I don't like having hairy legs, and It is a very American thing to shave your legs if you are female.

Like Ogg I don't bother shaving, much. (Okay so my beard style requires a little touch up upon occasion.)

My wife shaves her legs every couple of days. Not because her leg hair is thick or dark, (she's blond.) but because she pretty much lives in shorts and/or skirts. She shaves other parts of her body on roughly the same schedule. (Alternating her legs with her pitts and such.)

I wear jeans, every day, no matter what so when there's no one around home to see or feel them, I go in phases. I'll shave them every day, then I'll get lazy and let them go for a couple of weeks until one day I look down and shake my head in disgust and then I'll shave them every day again. Even then, I do a half assed job, but a half assed job daily usually keeps them reasonably shaven. :D

I shave some parts and have others waxed; at home, in Florida, I am in a swimsuit every day and, like everyone, I wear lots of shorts and skirts. I don't wear nylons even to work, so I try to make sure I'm smooth enough for that not to be unattractive. Plus, being smooth gives me a tactile pleasure that positively curls my toes. I live in the US, so yes, shaving is the norm.

I generally don't shave my legs much at all.

If I do it willl generally be once a year or so when I am going somewhere on vacation.

In the US it is very much not the norm, but I hate taking the time to shave my legs. Yes I know it only takes a few minutes but...

My wife recently shaved her legs in the car as we drove into London. We have a big car so it was no problem to push back the seat and put her legs up on the dashboard and shave them. As you might imagine this caused quite a few near misses with cars and trucks vieing for the best view.

The urgency of the situation was that she was late for an Embassy lunch for some national day holiday (I wasn't invited! Just the driver!) But first we had to deliver a wad of money that a stranger had given us in Warsaw to a Polish woman in Hampstead. Time ran too short, hence the shaving of the legs.

Still this was nothing compared with the guy who caught us in his headlights in an underground carpark after the lunch as she was changing out of her 'Embassy wear' into street clothes - how he missed driving into the concrete column I'll never know.

I've thought about trying to include this strange day in a story but sometimes real life is just unbelievable.

I shave infrequently, probably once every 3 or 4 months. my hairs are light, so barely seen and honestly, it doesn't bother me if they're a bit hairy. hubby doesn't mind either *L* So it tends to be a christmas and special occassions thing :)

the only time i let my legs get furry is in the winter when im wearing pants on a constant basis. blonde hair so...its not a major thing, this shaving business but i like the smoothe feeling of it so i do it nearly every other day.
i like routine.

Coming Together Icon Lost!!! Help!!! Please!!!!

I accidentally lost my coming toghether icon for my sigline and i don't remember who it was that was kind enough to provide it for me before.

Isn't there anybody who can help? I don't like the little red x in my sigline. I don't think it makes a good advertisment for our product.:(

As a fictional person I don't have to shave my legs.

If I want to change my personal appearance I just ask Og.

He usually obliges.

I'm lazy and unregular about shaving my legs, like many others mentioned here (luckily I have fairly light body hair)- but I agree, I enjoy the feeling of smoooooooth legs- too bad it only lasts 1 day.

Like wearing makeup, I don't feel like it's some moral or even cultural imperative (seing as how I'm a non-conformist anyway), but I do enjoy it from time to time.:D

Gee, what a hairy buch we are :p
