What about shaved underarms? Does that make us docile too?

I don't think of choosing to have no pubic hair as a return to childhood. It's a personal preference, like shaving legs and underarms.

Agree!

I'll pass. With my poor motor control I'm bound to damage something.

I have a beard for the same reason, laziness. I mean it's not safe for me to have a sharp blade that close to my throat.

On women I ain't fussy. Although I'm sure that's not what my doctor had in mind when he said I should get more fibre in my diet.

Shaving is a must for me. I'm not overly fond of body hair. I maintain a totally smooth look, or a thin strip of hair.

I can handle a little hair on men, but mostly, I prefer things to be smooth. If there's even the slightest chance I'm going to end up with hair in my mouth, I tend to back away slowly.

Shaving tips for boys and girls:

Shave in the shower! The warm water helps to soften the hairs and the follicle. Never dry shave!

If you're shaving for the very first time ever, or the hair is particularly dense, you may want to shave with the grain first, before attempting to shave against the grain. Again, if the hair is dense, switching razors before shaving agaist the grain will help to keep everything smooth. I recommend shaving creams when shaving pubic areas, or like Scarlett, use body wash. The moisturizers will help to reduce chafing.

If you want to eliminate bumps and razor burn, and can handle a sting, rubbing alcohol or tea tree oil applied to the freshly shaven areas will make things less likely to become painful in the hours following a shave.

Finally, apply lotion. Something with aloe in it is highly soothing.

All my questions answered *swoon*

I loathe shaving. I'm not esp. hairy though, so I can usually get away with being lazy. What I hate is the itchy-itchy crotch-scratching grow-back part.

Sex toys AND shaving. I'm sounding well informed, hmm?

Speaking from a female perspective, watching a guy do the itchy-itchy crotch grabbing move isn't exactly a turn on. That's NOT how you want to draw attention to the male package.

The itchy factor comes in because the skin is dry and/or you have in-grown hairs. That's what the moisturizer and alcohol/tea tree oil is for. Also, the longer you shave, the less you're itchy.

I don't itch at all anymore. In fact, actually having hair bugs the crap out of me. I am now compelled to shave every other day, at least.

I've never had anyone complain that I looked like a child or less womanly with little to no pubic hair. And at my size, they very well could have.
With me, it's not about satisfying some obscure fetish, it's about an aversion to body hair.

Personally, I just think it looks sexy.

And for the record, I prefer intelligent, independent women.

goddamnit i love those addendums:rolleyes: :p

I think a nice patch of fur makes for a prettier pussy. Shaved just looks wrong.

Currently it's all natural. I can't be bothered to keep it maintained when I don't have a man around to enjoy it with me. ;)

When I do have a man in my life I keep it either trimmed or shave everything but the front. Did shave it all off once, but it looked so naked! Did feel kinda cool though. hehe

Didn't we have this thread a while back? I think so. I'll reply to this one as I replied to the other. I shave my wife about once every week or so. It's easier than her trying to tie herself ito knots getting everything she can't see. When she shaves herself she does so in the shower and uses a womans shielded razor. When I shave her I use a Quatro with new blades. I haven't nicked her since we started this. (It's all in how you hold the razor.) I then apply a skin conditioner of some kind, or I apply Aloe Vera.

Cat

I go back and forth between natural and not so natural.

When I first started shaving again, I discovered how much easier it is if I sit on the toilet to do it! I could reach everything easily and could use a small hand mirror to a visual check. I always shave on the toilet now! I tried it in the shower but it sucked. Had to quit and get out to finish.

I shave my pussy for the same reason I try different hair styles... A little variety, a little boredom, a little adventure.

I have a whole story on shaving here on Lit. If you click the "my stories" link in my sig line, it's called Trip To The Country. It talks a little bit about why some women prefer to keep themselves shaven.

That's all from me!

Maybe that's why I was so unnerved... no visual... and no glasses in the shower!

I just shaved all today. It's how I like to be, but lately I don't mind a thin layer to kind of shade things in a little bit. But for me, on a woman bare has always been my favorite choice. I choose to do it for me because I like it. Other men, I like to see a little something.

Soak in the bathtub first. It softens the hair and makes it easier...

:D
