legs and pussy... and I'm Italian. So if I wait for more then a few days its a damn process to shave!
I took a shower this morning spent the time going over everything because I'm going to see M soon - and oi does my neck and back hurt !!

What kind of shower shaving gymnastics do you do - is there a remedy to this?
Oi, I remember doing a dance in a stall type shower in college... before i figured out to get a little stool to put my foot on.

I'll never use any nair type product EVER again many bad experiences. And I can't find magic anywhere (I'm also scared of it)
I don't have the option to wax often either, and I'm too chicken to wrip it off myself ...lol.

I'm just venting. I've read all the shaving threads, hair removal threads but none of them target the aches and pains of positioning!!!
Men anything to say?

And is it me, or they make men's razors and women's ... but the women like the mens better, and they work better for us? (I know its really just the shape of the handle for better angles... but fuck you guys have it good)

disclaimer: I don't have to go through all I do, M doesn't mind, but its been a while so it'll be a nice treat. :)

Hi BlueSugar :) I use a man's Mach 3 razor and shave every couple of days (Master likes me smooth). I'm virtually bent in half trying to see if I got all the hair between the lips  I'm too scared to wax and hate sitting around for ages waiting for the creams to do their thing (plus they don't seem to work too well on the coarse hair I have).

No pulled muscles yet but have had rib cramps a coupleof times *OWCH*

What positions are you using now?

For legs, I usually stand on one and put the other on the far wall of the shower, or sometimes the little ledge between the tub and the wall. An alternative is to sit in the tub and put your heel up on the far side of it.

Putting your foot on the side of the tub and balancing on one leg works for pubic hair (especially the top part), but it can be hard on the neck. Recently, I 've found squating sideways in the tub (think like a frog ready to hop) works really well and is less strenuous. I hope that helps a little!

I don't really look for the hair because it's too fine, I feel for it. I wonder if one of the fog-free shower mirrors would help you spot any places that need extra attention though.

I'm a gymnist in the shower.

I stand on one leg and put the other against the wall.
Sit on the edge of the tub, sit in the tub with my leg up.
I crouch, do squats and leg extentions to get my pussy.

That side ways squat one leg extended to the side works well for that area. But so much time is spent looking down and extened leg on one foot or up in the air ... it just hurts.

The creams, soaps, different razors, I even have a shower mirror with suction cups!

In all these years ya'd think I'd get used to it... I think I've been shaving since I was grade school.

Forgive me for the Hijack Blue Sugar but you did ask for a man's opinion.

Quite frankly this thread is kind of a turn on.

I know his opinion, but its my pussy - I know what he likes, and I change it up when up to it, its just hair...and I'm italian, it'll grow back lol.
I don't ask him to shave, trim, shape or anything (and he doesn't ask me) ... infact, I like him natural, I feel from belly button down on men shouldn't be hairless, it looks naked, misplaced and odd looking actually. but to each their own right? :)

Its open for the whole forum. thanks ;)

And we're talking of the not sexual hot part of hair removal btw lol

I use Magic. I love it. I'm very fair and have fine hair so it's not too much of an issue.

The only thing that I can say about using it is to make sure you are very dry. When I shaved, I prefered to sit in the tub. It was easier that way.

I prefer the magic, though, because it doesn't have a stubble when it grows back and I only use it once a week.

Now thinking laterally, how about a yoga course, see the library near you for details...Why a yoga course I hear you ask, because if you were more flexible and exercised you would get fewer cramps.

I guess I'm lucky as I have a tub that has little built in shelf-like things in the corners which are perfect foot-size. Since I shave every day, I'm so used to shaving I could almost do it in my sleep. I've never thought about positioning and pain, actually.

*Sigh* I think I've been doing this too long. I wonder if it ever ends??

Do you have Walgreens drug stores where you live? That's where I get it...on the bottom shelf with all of the men's shaving supplies. It works pretty well for me, definitely smoother than shaving and no razor burn. I have Italian genes too, so Nair does absolutely nothing for me. Of course, Magic is a whole process in itself, and shaving you can just do in the shower.

For Blue and all the other ladies here that are contorting yourselves and breaking bones and ligaments in the process. I think you're all overlooking the most valuable shaving tool you have!!

YOUR LOVER!

Ladies, there isn't a man alive that wouldn't jump at the chance to help his woman out in that regard and frankly it would be a lot easier for him to do it than for you to bend yourself into a muscle scrunching pretzel.

Frankly I'm not overly thrilled with the naked look. It looks prepubescent in my opinion. But if my wife decided she wanted it bare, I'd would do it for her.

Seriously girls. Instead of making this a big production so you can show off a bare pussy, why not just ask him to help you with the harder to reach, harder to see spots?

Listen to the man. He's speaking the truth! :D

I'm agreeing with Bobmi....

also is it true (when shaving a female) that shaving cream can give her a yeast infection if you get it too close or inside the vaginal area?

It might for some women, though I've never had a problem with any cream, lotion, or gel, and I haven't heard of it. It's only on for a few minutes, and it doesn't really get inside where it can upset the balance.

Good point...I'll let him use the clippers, but the razor makes me nervous for some reason.

I'm not crazy about the bare look either, but I don't do it for the look...I do it for the feel. :p

NEVER nuh uh no way will I let anyone else but me hold the razor!

And no, I don't have a wallgreens. I haven't been able to find it in the CVS/RiteAids or Wallyworld either - and I'm a bit scared to try it bc its a nair type deal and I HATE all those creams, its such a process.

As for yoga, I stretch and do it now and again, I should do it more often... but holding the positions in the shower and a slick tub/shower ... it is quite a work out :)

While I love the suggestion of Bobmi, I understand BlueSugar, that you want this done before you see your lover. Magic can also be found at a Sally's Beauty Supply Store in the African American section.

Personally, I've tried a few ways and women's razors do suck, and the Mach3 is great.

Squatting in the shower with your knees bent apart *spread wide* is often helpful when you are paralel with the outside of the tub, like facing the shower curtian/door.
THat was particularly hard to do though when i was pregnant and couldn't see over my own belly, so someone suggested I get a (I know you'll laugh), Lil Tykes chair.
It was perfect, whether I wanted to sit or stand and prop my leg up against the tub or shower wall. It didnt hold water and could easily be cleaned with the tub because the plastic is so tough.

Btw, Nair, and Epilitaory cremes often burn musucs membranes such as area spoken of, but Magic Shaving Powder is mixed with water and when applied in a thick consistency, you can have a successful removal without pain.

I hope this helps and that you have a great meeting with your "M" :rose:

Everything went fine. I have a little footstool that I put in the shower sometimes.

I was just venting and poking others to do so :)

Magic is a depilatory as well. What active ingredient makes it different from Nair and the others? I know Nair doesn't contain Urea, which is what usually causes so much irritation.

I used to let an ex groom me b/c it was one of his fetishes, but he was limited to scissor duty. And we was also frequently given a stern warning that any trimming mishaps would result in a swift knee to the temple ;) He never cut me, but I usually had to tell him to even things out a bit. "If you're going to do it, do it right!" Hee.

Damn it Blue Sugar......you have all sorts of images in my head again!! :) Hmmm, and Italian? And Master is Spanish.....uh huh, I see a pattern developing here.

Yes, I noticed you and Francesco have quite the culture thing going on. I saw posts in the language threads, made me wish I could still speak Italian. (I stopped sometime before I turned 10 bec my grandmother died and no one spoke it in the house anymore)

I can get the tan that native italians can get, and was born with a wooden spoon in my hand and a cook book in my heart.
But yea, I could be on fuzzy little girl lol. ::shakes fist::

Edited to add: Nair burns the hell out of me, and the smell... oi. I haven't used it since before high school and I also tried it cousin "for thicker hair" no way.

Until I pick up some magic or learn to enjoy/have the money for waxing ... I'm stuck shaving with italian (tripple blade) friendly razors. haha
