Israel reneged on its commitment to an international investigation of its offensive against the Jenin refugee camp last night, throwing the United Nations mission into disarray.
Hours after a chorus of Israeli officials, including the foreign minister, Shimon Peres, said Israel had nothing to hide, the prime minister, Ariel Sharon, decided the team, announced just 24 hours earlier by the UN secretary general, Kofi Annan, was no longer acceptable."

Has anyone ever wondered why The US is the only ally Israel has?

Jenin is a war zone (hell, the whole area is) and Israel came to it's senses and realized that if they let nothing but Liberal Peacenics in, all they were gonna see was atrocity. So, they are now demanding some actual soldiers, some people whom have actually seen combat tag along.
