Sharon has never wanted "peace"

Well, before calling my "thesis" unsupportable, it would be interesting to look at history first. And, of course, to see what would truly happen if Israel did not exist.

Of course, since the idea that Israel will somehow disappear is extremely remote, you are safe in your assumptions.

As far as Palestinians being cosmopolitian? Interesting viewpoint. Didn't see when I was there. Matter of fact, very far from it. But of course, unless one has lived there, they really don't have a clue, do they?

They read "Cosmo"?

That was a bit condescending.

"You have never been there so how would you know"

Never been to Auschwitz before but I can say with a modicum of certainty that it wasn't a pleasant establishment.

I do not support Israel disappearing. Never have never will. However the Holocaust and the persecution they have suffered does not give them "Carte Blanche" to bully the Palestinians. Can you dispute the figures given? In other than words, where has Sharon demonstrated a willingness to peace? Hawks thrive on conflict and Sharon is a hawk of the first order. He dreads a true peace because he would be marginalized by it.

I make no assumptions. Tyrants and terrorism are spawned from inequality and poverty and injustice. The fat and happy do not make revolution.

"Beware yon Cassius" I think the line goes.

My comment was directed at miles.

BTW
I would suggest using history, as recorded objectively, to formulate opinion, rather than the Hollywoodized version
of a movie to make Paul Newman a star.

What was this all about. Cool Hand Luke???
