It's in my opinion, a rather mediocre movie. Decent and funny but not to be compared with other animated comdies, especially nowhere near 'Finding Nemo'.

Then again, there are a few GREAT jokes, lines and homages.

And Will Smith and Robert De Niro just rock.

Best scene: Definitely the Sushi-Bar at the beginning. Oh my god, I even crack uo now, just thinking about it.

Hmmmm, I guess I could let you, if you really want to.

I've barely seen anything on Shark Tale, no film advert or anything. I am sure I'll see it eventually...but probably not straight away...

Well, if you like those kind of movies...you definitely should see it sometimes.

I still prefer 'Nemo' but a lot of my friends say they liked it better than that.

It's not clearly a children's movie though. We watched it at a sunday afternoon preview screening together with a lot of kids. They didn't really laugh and cheer a lot.
And a lot of the jokes are not understood by young children. I mean which under-14-child has seen Jaws, The Godfather, Jerry Maguire or Gladiator to catch the references???

But I can just say the crazy crab and the squid were the greatest characters.

I will have to see it before Beth then. She enjoys nemo in parts but she'd much prefer to watch Monsters Inc or toy story (1 or2) for the millionth time

I will definitely catch it, I love kiddie movies *L*

Just saw it today ... Awesome movie. We laughed the whole time. And you are right Snoop, it aint no childrens movie, definitly not. But it was fun nonetheless ...

Those raggae squids were the best. "Respect" :D. And you really recognized Robert de Niro playing. This whole godfather-mob-wiseguys-shark thingy was just great.

And I wouldn't say "Finding Nemo" was that much better ... it was just different, thats all. Nemo was more made for Kids, Shark Tale clearly wasnt.

I like it how Hollywood makes more and more adult animated movies ... "Robots" and "Madagascar" are two more coming out next year ...
