Well I am going to recommend for the best ever summer sun spot, you'll find on earth... Bonnie Scotland, yes we do sun, althiough you wont really see it for the grey clouds and rain that we have 350 days of the year, the other 15 reserved for snow or some other extreme weather front, but with haggis (yeurgh I hear you say), fine scotch and of course us fine Scotsmen I am sure anyone could ahve fun in rainy, dark, cold Bonnie Scotland rofl
Many moons ago I was captain of the London Army Medical Services rubgy team (how as an Air Force logistics officer I am still trying to fathom????) and we toured 5 BMH's in Germany. What a very "bloke" experience that was.
miss ya mae. I have never been out of country and i don't know for sure if i would like to go, but i hope you have fun and how about posting some more scenery pics when you get settled back down over there? i heard germany is a beautiful place. well i hope you enjoy yourself.
Germany is in trouble, better sound the alarm. Congratulations Mae!!! I know you will enjoy and make the most of your travels abroad. I do hope that you stay in contact with the lit. I eagerly anticipate some pictures of your adventures. I am jealous, there is so much fun and adventure to be had- and it will not be wasted by your hand! I spent a month in Italy a two years back. There are so many other great places to see, both in Italy and abroad. *Gasp*, my heart aches to travel. Don't forget us little folk here at the lit *on knees*, my heart smiles with joy for you and the unknown adventures that await you. I weep, knowing that you will be even further from me........
One request, take some photos of the mountains.....please!
What a wonderful opportunity for you! I envy you the chance to travel as you are doing. I don't know that I'd be so bold as to move to a non-English speaking country without knowing the language first, but maybe that's just the overcautious side of me talking.
Here's hoping you find the peace and love you deserve where you are going.
I wish you the best of luck over there Mae. I'm sure you'll love it. I lived in Germany for 3 years while growing up (army brat) and I would absolutely love to go back again. I'm jealous of ya
Maybe you can send us some pics of you skiing naked in Austria or sunbathing topless in Greece .
And don't forget... OCTOBERFEST!!!!!!! yeah babyyyyy... heheh.
