in honour of winter, who has story ideas about odd combinations working to keep warm?

Combinations, defined in OED as "A single undergarment for the body and legs". Doesn't sound very promising for a quickie to me.

Of course, cuddeling naked together under a large blanket by the fire... Cliché to have them on a bearskin rug, overtop a hardwood floor?

Why are they there? It's their home, married/dating couple, and it's winter? They, whoever they are, are in a cabin in the mountains for whatever reason? They're in a snow ski lodge? And so on...
