Venus Rising Love Under GrAy Skies


Venus Rising is a story involving Roman Gods. Best described as wish fulfillment gone mad.

Love Under GrAy Skies is my attempt at a vaguely noir style romance. The upper case 'A' in 'Gray' was just a sad attempt at marketing. (Why is that A in upper case? I should check out the story to find out why.)

Love Under a GrAy Sky

I remember reading your story "Love Under a GrAy Sky" a few months ago. It was well writen but it depressed me. The story is about cheating spouses, and those aren't my cup of tea. I am married myself and that's just not my thing.

I think I've read Venis Rising too. I can't recall what it was about now though. I will give it another read and try to post a comment or add a thread for ya.

I remember reading your story "Love Under a GrAy Sky" a few months ago. It was well writen but it depressed me.

That's kind of what I was going for. I didn't want it to be a really happy story, more of a struggle for the two people to find love. It was actually TJChurch who suggested to me that not all the paths should lead to a happy ending. I think it makes the overall story that much stonger.

Maybe we need something like a more-explicit version of "Strangers In Paradise" ( http://www.strangersinparadise.com and vide Ooohkitty's avatar ).

The premise of SiP is a twisted, three-sided love triangle with secrets, silliness, tears, endless plot complications (and a little character development, though you have to squint hard to see it sometimes).

A nice thing of doing it Chyoo style is that in the melodramatic confrontations, you could have the plot go both ways. "Does she throw him out?" Yes AND No.
