Imp and I just received word that our novel Squeeze Play has won the 2009 Next Generation Indie Book Awards in the Erotica category. 
We had received news this morning that it had finaled but not won in the area of Fiction overall. It was pleasing if puzzling... we had not entered it as Fiction, but as Erotica. But we weren't gonna bitch, ya know?
(By the way, Coming Together With Pride also finaled in the awards, in the anthology category. *grin*)
Then, this afternoon, we received word that Squeeze Play had won the Erotica Category. *big freakin' grin*
This critical acclaim stuff is kinda cool. Now, where do I sign up to sell out to Hollywood and get the money so I can write more stuff that gets critical acclaim? *wink*
