Figured one of these would be helpful to keep track of any plot ideas I have. Plus it might be a more reliable way to find players than the "Threads that need players" thread in the main SRP forum.
Let me know if any of the ideas appeal to you. If you do, keep in mind that your character'll have to be the one to initate any intimate contact; my characters are normally very respectful of women, to the point where they won't actually broke the subject at all for fear of offending them (a possible exception would be if our characters had been going out for long enough that sex would be on the cards).
Plot Ideas
The Arcanist - A modern-day wizard in Chicago drives home from school with his live-in girlfriend for her 18th birthday. Not much else to say, but I do have a plot idea to follow on after the birthday. No sex in the additional plot, but I hope it'll be entertaining. Was last running this with Kypanther before real-life got the better of her, the old thread can be found here but she left before that extra plot started.
Hell & Heaven - Despite the title being a shout-out to GaoGaiGar (which I should really get around to borrowing off a friend of mine), this is another D&D-themed one with another half-dragon as the male lead (what? Half-dragon's are awesome). A half-dragon swordsman is running from an unknown group of assailants when he is saved by a pair of powerful spellcasters; a cleric and a sorceress. The title comes from the cleric being an aasimar (a human with traces of celestial blood, such as having a celestial for a grandfather) and the sorceress being a tiefling (a fiendish version of an aasimar). Was running this one with maskedgoddess, but ended before it really got off the ground when she too had to attend to real-life. What little was done of it can be found here.
The Reluctant Heir of Cannith
Marcus Faldren was a simple, but gifted, freelance artificer in Sharn who didn't have much business with House Cannith except to provide them a cut of his earnings (the same as any artificer in the city who didn't work directly for the House). Then he manifested a dragonmark.
He didn't know of any blood connection he had to House Cannith and just how he's related to the House is a mystery, but that mark got him dragged into the House in no time. It was the Mark of Making, the dragonmark of House Cannith, but it's size (covering his torso, arms and even some of his neck) showed that it was a rare and powerful Siberys Mark.
Due to the (entirely unwanted) prestige that earned him in the House, he was forced to attend numerous galas the Houses held; most likely just for House Cannith to show off their new Siberys-gifted heir. At one of these galas; held aboard one of House Lyrandar's more luxurious airships, he meets a young woman from another Dragonmarked House who also has a Siberys Mark.
This one is pretty Eberron-centric; there's no real way for its plot to work without the Dragonmarked Houses and some of Eberron's other unique features. I don't expect this one to get much of a response, to be honest but thought I'd throw it on here to be sure.
More to be added as I think of them.
Current Threads
Harem of Fur - The first group thread I've been in. I've normally shied away from them for fear of holding up a scene due to time zone differences, but bit the bullet for this one because it seemed like a great idea and because I figured I was just being paranoid about the time zone thing. The slew of talented writers who are also part of it is incredible, though it is a little intimidating since I'm sure I'm the weakest writer in it (chronic writer's block notwithstanding). I'm hoping that my lack of writing talent can be offset by my moments of creativity.
Scales & Spells - A Dungeons & Dragons-themed one (though it could easily be squeezed into a generic fantasy setting), a sorceress comes across a contingent of dark elf slavers. Their only prisoner being a half-dragon swordsman. Currently running a Forgotten Realms-based version with Vixandra.
