Yes again it comes down to what you find smart, car knowledge, book knowledge, cooking knowledge. What is it exactly that when you see a woman across a room makes you say I have to talk to her or meet her or even just take her home?

It really depends. Someone can dress a certain way because of their attitude and get away with it, others can not.

Why is there a difference of what you get in a picture and what you see out on the street? What is the deal with a lady in the street but freak in the sheets? What if she is a lady all the time or a freak all the time but you can't have both. Which one do you lean more towards?

A woman's opinion on the topic...

Personally I find women who are comfortable in their own skin and those that dress to flatter their figures attractive. I think all women have the potential but dressing in something 8 sizes too small for your figure is not going to help. Proper fit and add a bit of cleavage or a touch of thigh or something that plays up a fine bum and you have the potential for sexy. For me, someone who cares enough to make an effort to look attractive, is confident, smart and possesses all of the previous...is definitely sexy!

Now for slutty - I agree with the guys on this, it's all a matter of perspective - ill fitting clothes, too much "exposure" and inappropriate attire for the venue or your age can make one look slutty. That being said, I usually aim for "Saturday Night Slutty" when we go out because hubby likes it and it's out of my business attire norm and I have fun with it. I have also gone out and noticed lots of women sitting at the bars in jeans and a basic top that look horribly slutty because of the "rode hard and put away wet" vibe they send out. Desperation is neither attractive nor sexy.

I am curious why you ask? Are you aiming for a particular look?

As the first reply said, what is sexy to one person, may be slutty to another.

For any given picture, I am sure some will say "sexy" and some others may say "slutty". Some pictures may be 50-50 reaction. Other pictures may be 80-20 one way or the other.

I guess if you want a generic rule of thumb, I think that nude photos, especially of genitalia are more likely to be considered slutty. Pictures when clothed in a sexy outfit, or in sexy lingerie while not actually revealing private parts, tend to be more sexy.

I experienced some girls have a line in the sense of a border between the two. But mostly (at least, mostly among my clientele, or prey-pattern, if you prefer) "slutty" is an extra to "sexy". Slutty does not exclude sexy, and vice versa. If a girl is slutty in the not sexy way, it is because she is / has gone cheap, or the man's look on her is cheap. But that's not because slutty is cheap by definition, but because peoples' views on other people loses the acknowledgement of their respective value.

Dress is important. A woman wearing heavy mascara, a short leather skirt with green stockings, black boots and a skimpy top stretched across the boobs definitely says slut. I would also argue that a naked woman with the right pose and look on her face, or even a young woman enjoying a cock in her mouth, can look sexy as opposed to slutty. It's not what you do... it is how you look. That's my two cents.

Several here are curious about why you asked the question. "research and general opinions" is a very vague answer. I will ask a bit more specific question. Is there a specific reason for this research? What do you intend to do with your findings? Or is this just a curiosity, possibly sparked by something you saw or read here at Lit?
