and had no trouble. I think the rule is that they can't be posted on the actual Lit server, so no attaching pics like that, but if they are links to images from other sites or servers, it's fine. Otherwise threads like Girls Finishing Him Off or Three's Company would have been pulled long ago.

Can anyone in authority tell me if this is correct?

I have always tried to play it safe. Not that I often post pictures that need to be linked elsewhere. But if I do I usually just post the link. If I upload straight here. Then I can make the picture appear, and feel safe that I am not pushing the boundaries.

I am not "in authority" in any way, but, in my experience, it seems the rules get enforced differently in different boards. In AmPics, it is safest to just post the link. That way, there is no threat of the thread being deleted.

I respectfully disagree on the keeping your nose out of it part. The way that the photo/gif posting rules are differently enforced from board to board is confusing. It's good to have reminders of how things appear to work in AmPics. It is very disappointing when a whole thread gets deleted.
