Also what pisses you off, is that I am telling the truth about USA influencing countries, about what "they" see as the correct way of things. And yes I do have American friends, and the reason why I have those friends are because they know I am NOT an ignorant bigot, like you are proclaiming I am.

But you haven't said anything bad about Denmark here, have you? So how would I know and why should I care that you have elsewhere? I don't care about the nationalities of your friends. That doesn't prove much of anything.

I already told you I don't need to calm down. I know what you meant about the age of consent laws and I meant the same thing. It's just that the age is 16 and not 15. I guess you didn't bother to check out the link. You're just trying to focus on a detail that's not only technical but for that matter nonexistent, like with the movie rating systems.

You're trying to change the subject. This isn't about what I want. It's about what you think you know about the US.

If I want to see nudity, sex, violence and hear vulgar language on TV then I can do that very easily on something called cable.

Okay JD, what do I think of USA ? well I think USA is a multi cultural society with its good and bad sides, just like my own. But back to the main topic of this thread .. Do I think in American TV there are too much violence, and too crappy and so-called sexy stuff on tv over there (I am right now thinking music videos) , then my answer is yes plain and simple. (Because some of the same music videos are being played on two crappy Danish TV channels, and some times they even censor the Danish music videos, and that pisses/annoys me a lot)

But if we go into the games stuff, then I think the guy Jack Thomson is a fucking joke, cause before JT became a name of himself, then it was "violent" movies and that stuff. And the argument was the same as JT argument about how certain stuff influences kids to do crazy stuff. But then again if it does influence kids to monumentally fucking stupid stuff, then it is not the games them selves that are to blame. But the parents , So my opinion about stuff, I would allow my future children to see, then sure they would be allowed to see so-called violent films, and play so-called violent games. But I would teach them there was a language for the street and a language for the home. But if there was a naked breast on TV, and the kids saw it. Would I go apeshit and stuff about it ? no my answer is clearly no. Cause a naked breast is a natural thing, that should not be censored. And neither should cursing be, but would I allow my kids to see the news ? no, not before they knew the difference between reality and fiction, and that should be fairly quick, cause I would teach them the difference between fiction and reality. So I hope that clears anything up, but I am not retracting my original comment I said before. Since I am not a politician and I have no intention of saying "well I meant this or that", but I would gladly explain it in other words than those I chose. As long the original statement was intact.

So to any kind of basic things, no I do not tolerate censorship, about words, natural nudity , or for that matter a foreign power is censoring a sovereign nations tv shows, just because they are being broadcast from that particular country).

The media is going to create whatever the masses tune into. So it's very much all our fault for choosing to watch whatever we watch. For the media, it's all about profit. What brings in the most money? The violence, sexually charged, and comedy oriented shows. If we keep watching it, they'll keep making it.
