Muslim zeolots murdered three women in Kashmir for the crime of showing their faces.

Two of the women, both aged 21, were shot dead in their house in the Rajouri district in the south of the revolt-torn Muslim-majority state.

An official says a third woman, 22, was taken away and beheaded.

Police say they are investigating a link between the killings and the new dress code.

And the west does use child soldiers. I was in the military with a 17 year old. All it requires in the US is parental consent and a high school diploma.

The UK permits children of 16 to join the military and fight the good fight. Perhaps "coerce" might be a lovely word when it comes to times of war and "discourage" when it's peaceful.


You might also note that the US and our beloved/reviled leaders categorically refused to attend or sign key treaties regarding women's rights globally and they didn't even touch the treaty regarding children as combatants. Probably because our closest allies use children as combatants.

Barking about how horribly Islamic and Hindu fundamentalists treat women isn't going to change things. You should consider barking about how horribly your own elected representative behave toward these issues.

FWIW....I respect you and your views very much....it is said with as much passion.....and heart felt hope.....almost as much passion as I hold opposite views.....I wish YOU were right and I was wrong.....

The US has set examples for instance in how we handle POWs.....that is why the Iraqi soldiers were so eager to give up......yet it is NEVER the same with others holding US soldiers.....

No one will look at the US and say....Gee, we outa emulate them.....it is NAIVE and wishful thinking.....only strentgh is understood.....

I get really annoyed at some "Peace activists" that go to the Arafat controlled areas as human shields and never go to the Pizza Shops, Buses, Birthday and Holiday celebrations in Israel for human shield purposes.....it is hypocritical.....

The reason why you wont protest injustice at the source....is because YOU CANT....for fear of giving up your life.....

So you do the next best thing.....

Protest where you can.....In USA and England....
