Sure this idea's probably been done before - I remember one story in particular that's in the Incest category that is much like this, but the title eludes me at this time .

This would probably stick pretty close to the usual spy thriller formula, with a protagonist, a few antagonists, changing locales and lots of action, interspersed with a goodly portion of steamy erotic sex to warrant posting here on Lit.

I'm thinkin that some type of vital data disc or report is stolen from somewhere that should be secure, like a military base or something, and the main characters in the story are all after the prize, for their own personal concerns. Some people will die, some will live, but it wouldn't really be a thriller per se because of the hot sex, which really, nowadays, isn't all that far removed from regular action movies .

More details to come, if I still like the premise tomorrow that is.... .

Thoughts and options greatly appreciated.

Depending on how tounge-in-cheek you want to make this, everybody has to have names that double as sex-related puns, such as "Molotov Cocktease" (this example borrowed from the Venture Brothers cartoon on Adult Swim)

Yeh I know, I don't think I would worry about this now unless I was going to stick to a straight-up, regular work of thriller fiction.

Which isn't necessarily out of the question - I don't like to work on smut stories ALL the time .

But as far as a Lit story is concerned, this idea is dead to me

Oh yeah, I do not doubt that there is a huge audience for erotica out there, and probably a lot of readers who would not necessarily mind the mix-up I was originally considering...

But I do not think I as an author could make something interesting out of a thriller concept - it just would not come off right, at least I don't think so at the moment. It would either be too much of a thriller, or too much sex to even bother worrying about a storyline.

I want to do more differing work, like a pyschological thriller, war story, or spy thriller... and I don't think combining any of these ideas with smut is quite within my capabilities as a writer - at least, at the moment.
