One thing I've noticed about myself is that I'm attracted to things that might be considered "traditional", especially when it comes to decorum and dress.

I've known men who prefered no undergarments, a few boxer guys, a few briefs, and one who favors cotton undershirts and boxers.

Of these, the later one will give me chills every time.

When I choose my underclothes, I favor corsets, just corsets. For me it's a matter of feeling exposed and bound at the same time.

I was just watching a show in which the female was wearing bra, panties, cami, and tap pants.

So what does it for you? Is less more? or is more better?

For my own sense of comfort and looking nice, I always wear a bra when out. When one is busty and over 40 it is pretty much a necessity. I always wear panties too. Fortunately Daddy likes pretty lingerie and isn't one to tell me to go around pantie-less. When we are home alone it isn't unusual for him to tell me to get nekkid (even when there is no sex involved). He is an all or nothing kind of guy.

I cannot go far comfortably without my bra. I am also over 40 and busty and cringe at the thought of going bra-less, although it is such a relief to take my bra off at night. Defying gravity takes a toll.

I tend to go for comfort in my panty selection. Think "big white cotton". Sexy, right?

I do have some really cute panties, and I wear them a lot. But I mostly choose cotton over any other type of fabric.
I feel my sexy best when I am comfortable and not chafing from some god-awful fabric.

My current favourite includes a bustier (no real corsets here yet!) and garter and stockings.

I like the way it makes me feel particularly feminine, and the movement of the garter against my legs makes me feel particularly exposed and vulnerable if I'm not wearing underwear.

When it comes to regular underwear, I do so love matching sets. When I finish my weight loss efforts, I'm buying heaps of pretty, girly things.

I feel more comfortable in a bit more. I've been to parties in my bustier and ra-ra skirts and been the most over dressed person by miles. But it makes me comfortable, and I feel sexy.

You learn to always bend at the knee and reach from the torso.

I've never understood the "less is more" thing re:lingerie. Lingerie should fit ones personality- that's where the sexy comes from. For example, I wear primarily French lace; I refuse to own a basic nude bra (I substitute red, instead - bought a new red set while vacationing in Boston this week, actually lol). None of it is sexy because it's French or lace or red; it's sexy because it makes me happy and helps me feel comfortable in my skin.

It's a question based on too many variables - among other things, it depends heavily on who's wearing it and...pretty much, just what I like at the moment. Like CM said, you learn.

Obviously I haven't perfected working fast food in a corset (and I haven't made one that's specifically a work corset yet, but I can complete normal tasks with one on.

For instance I have perfected my curtsy *giggles* if I drop something I can cross my ankles and bend my knees and lower myself to the ground to the point where my bum is on the floor, and then rise in the same manor.

Tieing my shoe is another issue completely.

The "where/when/with what am I going to wear this" is the only question I ask myself when coming across underwear & lingerie (and shoes).
Hence my every growing collection ...

As for what I like to see worn, anything that looks good on the person wearing it, although In the case of male underwear, boxer briefs are probably my favorites.

For day to day I wear standard underwear, no frills. I have a bit of lingerie and K picked it all out cause it doesn't matter what kind of lingerie it is I fell absolutely stupid in it. We have a deal; I'll wear whatever he wants me to wear as long as I don't have to see myself in a mirror in it.
