I have met incredible friends here. For instance...Ang, my best friend in the whole world, I met right here on this board. By extension, I met her wonderful husband...and now they are two of those people I cannot imagine life without.

So far as romance, that happens too. But for me it has mostly been deep friendships, flirtations, and the occasionally guy you just don't know how to handle.

Seriously, I have met some really amazing people here. I have invested plenty of time developing friendships with a few people here, and there are still more that I will become friends with at some point.

Lit (at least the how to board... which is where I spend 90% of my time) has some truly special characters. Some of them are special in a good way. Still others ride the short bus -- like my husband. But we all combine to make a pretty good little mini ecosystem of sex advice.

The easiest way is to just strike up a conversation. If you like what someone has posted? Tell them. If you are interested in a personal, write to them. And once you have been on the boards a while, you will fall into friendships before you even realize it is happening. Then...wow. It just happens and your life is changed.

You can. You can make friends who you talk to about more than sex. I think I'm a lit success story... cuz I responded to a personal ad and ended up in a kick-ass 3some. In real life. With real people. And it was fun!
