I have a couple of sci-fi ideas I have been kicking around for a while. They are:
1. In the not to distant future society becomes much more sex friendly. Cures for social diseases are discoverd and 100% effective birth control is a reality. These are not to far out in my opinion. Realistic sex education, not the thinly glossed form of it we now have, is part of a program of life education that is taught in schools. The plot revolves around an 18 yo girl's "coming out" party which is basically a swinger type party that is designed to welcome her to adult, sexually active society.
2. While on vacation, an out of work space transport crew woman meets and falls in love with another vacationer. He explains that the ship's crew that he is a member of is basically a poly family. He takes her home to meet the family and she ends up joining the crew as its newest member. She is welcomed into the family with loving arms. Colleen, I could also see this story taking a decidedly sapphic twist as well. The crew could be all female as easily as it could be mixed.
