I cant write very well, but someone else should write about a normal person ahaving sex with a retarded/handicapped person.

I thought of that -- what about rape stories? Where's the line on being able to make a "decision"? With kids, of course, there's more to the law than just the fact that they can't lucidly decide for themselves -- if that were the only criteria then drunk people shouldn't be able to have sex either.

People who are raped are "adults", so sexual stories about rape are allowed (I still don't like them, but, hey, that's me).
Maybe what I'm asking is this: can the seriously mentally handicapped be classified, in a sexual context, as "adult"? If so, then sure, let's have lots of stories abusing the retarded. If not, should they should be banned along with child porn?

This is interesting -- should seriously mentally retarded stories be banned for the same reason that underage stories are banned, because the party in question does not have the maturity of mind to understand the sexual decisions being made? I know retarded people marry and have children, but I'm talking about the seriously autistic who have no discretionary capacity for something as emotionally complex as deciding to have sexual intercourse.

I have no opinion about this -- yet. I just think it's an interesting question.

Well, Dixon, I suppose if someone is incapable of making 'adult' decisions, then there might be a moral issue. If they are ambulatory, and able to function (however nominally) in a real world setting, then I don't have a problem with it. Of course, does that mean that non-consensual or coercives stories should be banned too?

I personally don't have a problem with the rape stories or the wierd alien/animal stuff that some people like, but I draw the line at writing stories about mentally handicapped people and children. There just gets to the point where it is beyond sick. I may not be able to justify it with objective moral reasoning, but a story about taking advantage of an innocent child or mentally retarded person is just wrong. Look at our society. Rape is looked down upon, but not nearly as much as child pornography or child molesters. I guess that's where I got my moral compass form...Society.
