My husband bought me a good sized dildo and its made of soft flesh like material. Its a good sized dildo about 9in.. He used it on me, I was so turned on.. He fucked me good with it.. Only problem was the fucking toy was burning the fuck out of my pussy. I finally had to make him stop.. but the burning sensation stayed for awhile.
Anyone else ever run into a toy, they might have been allergic to?

Did you wash it good before you used it? Maybe with alcohol. No I have never met a toy that I was allergic to, maybe that is why I have so many, lol.

We always prewash and wash after each use.. this is the only one I have had this reaction to.. but the only one made of this material.. I hate giving oral to this one for my husband.. cause it had a spicy like taste.. burning sensation in my mouth too.. guess I should have realized then.. not to stick it in my vagina..lol

Yep, I'd take that as an indication that it won't feel good elsewhere. If you're the outgoing type, you could try writing an email to the manufacturer and let them know about the problem. This sounds like it could have been a QC problem in their fabrication process. They may offer you a refund or a credit for one of their other products made of a different material. Of course they may just tell you to fuck off in which case you know not to buy their products anymore anyway. :)

Mrs E has a sensitivity to toys that are made with the soft jelly-like material. Nothing as bad as you described - burning  - but she does get irritated / itchy. Even after washing them well.

We tried wrapping these in condoms to help, but noticed they kinda broke down, and some discolored, with washing and interaction with other toys in the tickle-trunk.

Then she read something or saw a show about these toys breaking down and pieces being left inside the body, the chemical composition of these fragments not the best for you....

There's probably a reason most of these are sold with "novelty item" stamped on the label.

We've switched everything to silicone and have had zero problems. These are stronger (you can wash some of these - not battery or electric ones - in the dishwasher and boil in water to sterilize), are hypoallergenic for the most part, and with consumer demand for these increasing over the years, the selection and variety has improved and pricing is more competitive.
As far as pricing goes, the silicone is generally more, but this is a case of getting what you pay for.
We just consider these investments in pleasure and orgasms - and you control the returns you see on these "investments" :nana:

The only thing to watch with the silicone toys is that they react with, and should not be used with silicone lubes. Silicone lube can bond to the silicone toy, or degrade the toy. There are some great water-based lubes out there that can grease the wheels if needed.

Definitely wash any toys - silicone, latex, or others - prior to use. If silicone toys are not an option, try the condom route.

Most important - HAVE FUN!! ;)
