Temporarily on hold while I concentrate on another Role Play.

"Sex Survivor"

"Season Three: Sex in Suburbia"

(OOC -- For information about the role play, see the bottom.)

"Thank you for coming in," the Producer said with a feigned smile of appreciation. He opened the door of the huge office and, with a polite gesture, invited the interviewee to depart. "We'll be in touch soon ... I promise."

After the prospective contestant was gone and the door was shut, the Producer shot a hard glare in the direction of the show's Assistant Casting Agent and asked, "What the fuck was that?"

The woman held her hands out in a What...? gesture, then tossing her clipboard of applicant names aside defended, "You wanted someone from a specific small town, asshole! When you restrict me to a small pool of applicants--"

"Yeah, yeah, yeah," he cut her off, stomping around to behind the desk again and dropping into his deep leather chair. It had been a frustrating day.

The upcoming season, the third in the franchise, was being staged in the abandoned suburb of Fairview, and the Producer had wanted at least a few of the contestants to have come from the neighborhood. There simply weren't many suitable candidates to choose from. Fairview had seen its local industrial employers disappearing over the past thirty years, followed quickly by the small businesses that supported them and, in turn, survived on the money from their employees' localized spending.

Ultimately, when the Studio swooped in and purchased the 4 square mile area, fewer than 15% of its homes had been occupied. Good for the studio, as the asking price to relocate the remaining citizens was low. Bad for the Producer, who couldn't find anyone suitable to interview for the upcoming season. He had filled most of the First Round roles already -- the 16 people, half male, half female who would be introduced with the season's first episode -- and now he was trying to fill the Replacement roles, which was a much wider, more diverse group of people who would be injected into the competiotion to promote specific story lines. And what he really needed was, as the Agent has called him, a real asshole, someone who could really stir things up when the need arose. And the Assistant Casting Agent had utterly failed in finding this man!

"Who's next," he growled, giving the Agent -- who had gotten her job via service from her knees -- a hard glare. "And please tell me he's either more confident in what he can offer or at least better looking than that last guy."

As the woman again snatched up her clipboard and headed for the door, she snapped back, "You're going to have to compromise. You either get a man with stunning looks ... or a man who puts on a good show ... 'cause you might not find both in the same contestant unless you let me widen the search parameters."

Before the Producer could respond, the Agent opened the door and called, "Peterson, Patrick!"

She stepped back, and a man in jeans and a short sleeve shirt -- very casual compared to the earlier applicants' suits or sports coats -- stepped inside. He wasn't very tall, perhaps just five and a half feet, but he was solidly built. The Producer had been looking for a skyscraper of a man to fill one of the final positions in the cast, and this man wasn't that man.

Giving the woman near him a knowing stare, the Producer stood slowly and walked around the desk to introduce himself and his associate and ask the requisite questions before dismissing the man and chastising the Assistant Casting Director yet again. How hard is it to understand that SKYSCRAPER OF A MAN means TALL...? There has to have been at least one man from Fairview over six feet tall, doesn't there...?

But as the interview proceeded, the Producer -- occasionally eying the Agent, who while not the professional he preferred to work with was one helluva sexy woman -- began fantasizing, about the upcoming show, about some of the tasks the contestants would be put to, about the adventures they would get involved in spontaneously...

...and about how the entire staff of the program had signed a waiver ... agreeing to do anything -- sexual or otherwise -- as requested by the Producer and/or Director to satisfy the paying audience.

The applicant was describing the last few years of his life, about how he'd lost his job and then his wife. "And then she ran off with one of the private equity firm's investors ... another chick ... one of the people responsible for the closure of the plant. Do you know that those guys made over two hundred million dollars after declaring bankruptcy ... putting us hard working stiffs out on--"

"This is your wife you're talking about...?" the Producer cut in. When the man nodded, the show's money man asked, "Probably makes you hate women, doesn't it...?"

The interviewee hesitated, glancing toward the Agent standing nearby. When he looked back to the Producer, he responded, "I'm not too happy with them right now, no."

The Producer pushed away from his desk and headed back around to his leather seat as he informed the man, "I don't think you're what were looking for, but thank you for coming in. I'm after someone specific. A man who can take charge ... who can be forceful when he needs to be ... who--"

The Producer turned to look directly into the man's eyes and said, "Who isn't afraid to push himself on a woman who isn't performing to her utmost potential."

And as he finished, he turned his glare to the Assistant Casting Agent, who suddenly stood up tall from the desk she'd been relaxing against; she smoothed down the lower reaches of her dress, attempting to make it cover more of the long, fit legs than its mid-thigh lower hem was designed to, then crossed her arms before her, holding her clipboard tight to her body in an attempt to hide some of the deep cleavage that her plunging neck line revealed. This was not a day to come to work looking like a dance hall slut, my dear, the Producer thought, ogling her for a moment.

"If I thought you were that man..." The Producer said, turning his attention back to the interviewee, "... if you could prove yourself to me ... right here ... right now ... then you would have a place in the show."

The man across from the Producer stood, giving his opposite a questioning look, as if to ask Are you suggesting what I THINK you're suggesting...? He turned his attention to the Agent for a moment; she was noticeably nervous, fidgeting against the desk, glancing quickly between the Producer, the powerful-looking man desperate for a chance in life, and the door ... which simply was too far away for her to reach should she make a mad dash.

"Sir, let me assure you," the Producer said with an authoritative tone, "Anything that takes place in this office stays in this office. It's kind of like Old Vegas in that respect. Miss Travers here has signed a waiver, giving up any protection against--"

The Producer didn't have to finish his assurance that the man would be protected from any sexual violence charges. The man crossed toward the Agent and, as she tossed the clipboard aside and tried for the exit, snatched her by the wrist and flung her back onto the leather couch that the Producer had had his own sexual thrills upon with some of the female interviewees in the Show's previous seasons...

The rape hadn't been pretty. "Sex Survivor" had seen its share of violent sexual encounters, but most of them had been between contestants, and often they had been far more consensual in nature than they had appeared to the viewing audience.

But this ... this had been different. The Assistant Casting Agent came to work each day knowing that she might have to drop to her knees or lift her skirt to retain a paycheck few with her resume saw these days; but it had never occurred to her that she might find herself violated in the way she was as part of a contestant interview.

The Producer had been very pleased with the man's performance ... very impressed. He'd stood and come around to lean against the front of his desk, to get a better view. The man was indeed powerful, taking the Agent down easily and ripping her clothes from her in just seconds, exposing a perfect body sculpted by regular visits to the studio's gyms and spas.

After the interviewee finished atop the Agent, letting out a deep groan of satisfaction, he rose away from the woman and turned to face the Producer, his jeans still gathered about his knees; his erection, thick and impressive as the rest of his body was, shone with the woman's juices upon it. He took a moment to get his breath, then asked, "Did I get the part, sir?"

"It's yours, son," the Producer informed him with a broad smile. He jabbed a thumb over his shoulder toward an open door, saying "Use my private bath to get cleaned up if you'd like. I'll take care of our friend here."

The newest "Sex Survivor" contestant pulled his jeans up enough to walk and followed the Producer's suggestion.

Once they were alone, The Producer moved to sit on the couch next to the Agent, who was gently sobbing as she clutched her tattered clothes to her body. He urged her to rise to sit near him, and when she resisted -- not wanting to expose herself -- he ordered her up and helped her himself. He took a moment to ogle her form; she was, indeed a beautiful woman, with firm breasts, huge swollen nipples, and a thin waist that led down to a shapely waist and firm ass. He wanted so badly to roll her over and begin round two, but...

"I would say I'm sorry for that but," he said softly, his tone polite, "but you wouldn't believe me anyway ...so..."

"What's wrong you..." she sobbed, "What's wrong with you that you would let someone do that to me ...to anyone!"

The question confused the Producer a bit. In two seasons of "Sex Survivor", there had been a dozen or more rapes that he could remember. Sexual violence was an unfortunate fact of real life; the viewers expected the show to be more extreme than their own, daily lives, so rape ...well, as horrible as it was, it increased the ratings. Involving the contestants in strictly consensual acts of sex wasn't going to bring him the ratings that kept his show on the air, that kept the advertising dollars rolling in.

Even more confusing was the Agent's apparent lack of recollection that it was she who had suggested the greatest ratings booster of last season, a gang rape of the last female to be ejected from the program, setting up the winning couple's victory. He was about to remind her of that fact when she suddenly stood and hurried away into her connecting office to compose herself.

A moment later, the bathroom door opened and the new contestant returned. He glanced about, looking for the woman he'd just violated, and not finding her asked, "Is that going to come back to haunt me?"

The Producer stood and crossed to him, reaching out to shake his hand as he answered, "We're all good here.

The Producer gave the man the appropriate paper work to complete and submit, then sent him on his way to Personnel. When he was alone, he called to the Personal Aide sitting in the office's ante room and said with a gruff tone, "I'm all alone in here. I don't make money when I'm all alone in here."

The Aide escorted a pretty woman inside, made the introductions that were normally the Casting Agent's duty, and departed.

The Producer wasted no time, commanding, "Take your clothes off, so I can see what you're offering the viewers ...then--" He ogled the woman's impressive bosom and smiled a bit as he finished, "...tell me what you can do for me, should I offer you the opportunity to be a famous ... or infamous ... your choice."

(OOC -- "Sex Survivor" is essentially an X-rated version of "Survivor"; it involves sexual and non-sexual situations both, with contestants being observed by a paying audience via thousands of cameras -- think "Hunger Games" -- and voted on as to whether they stay on or not. I know I am not presenting a lot of details, but that's also part of the story: the show changes with nearly every episode, to keep the audience involved and, thus, the advertisers paying. But essentially, contestants prosper by struggling through "Survivor" like situations and putting on good sex shows for the audience. If this sounds at all interesting to you, please drop me a PM. I will create an OOC thread in the next few days to better organize the facts.)
