Used to be back in the more closeted days there were all these messages you could send by what you wore where:

Keys hanging on right meant dom, on left meant sub,

Velvet choker (for a while) meant sub, but taken.

Now there are all these gang signs involving brim of hat, shoe laces, rolling up pants, shirt sleeves, fingers in nose...

I'm looking for more sexual signals. Know any?

Tracksuit bottoms and woolly jumper = not interested in anything but comfort eating.

:D

Now guess what I'm wearing...

ps- sorry I couldn;t really help... but I;d never heard of the keys thing.

Well, there's the old ankle bracelet = hotwife swinger rumor. And all those old school colored bandanas (would require a google). Any particular direction/inclination you're thinking?

Oh, and all the foot tapping, hand waving thing in bathrooms. But that's been done to death.

Where did all the 'niether' hang their keys?

A girl I work with claims that a piercing in the left nostril means she likes giving head. Don't know how reliable that is, but it sure makes life interesting. :D

I thought tongue piercings meant that. :p

*green tea spew* :D

Dr Mab, because these things change so often, all I am aware of right now is the Hanky code which is supposedly for gay males, although I do know of lesbians in the UK that use it, too.

I remember hearing that picking your nose meant you were looking to get laid.

It never worked for me though. I wonder why...

It only works if you use your little finger and dig really deep. ;)

Like, going for brain matter deep.

If it makes you feel any better, it never worked for me either.

I think bending over and grinding your ass into your dancing-partner's crotch means something, but I'm not sure. The kids all claim it means nothing.

Mines on the right, and yet I love giving head...

In fact, all my extra peircings are on the right. Hmms...

I don't know about keychains and shoelaces but I know a sex signal when I see one. There's a certain stance a man can take, or a head tilt at times. Then there's a special sort of eye contact I developed over time.

You want sex signals? Watch old movies (late 30's through the 40's).

I'm so socially dyslexic that anything other than "Fuck me hard right now" is going to go right over my head.

"If all piercings are located on the right half of the subject's body, or to the right of any specific protuberances, as to appear on the right at all times, then the explicit meaning is that the subject enjoys FFM threesomes and has a fetish for using Pop Rocks during intercourse."

There you go.

I'm not sure if this is apocryphal or not but there are supposedly a wide number of 'clothing' items that have denoted gay, (for males) but that have been so popular that they soon passed into common usage. some may surprise you (if true)

Suede shoes
knitted ties
key rings (left or right depending on preference)
single earrings.
shaved head.

An extremely funny (but taken rather seriously by the media for some reason) television satire 'special' on an extremely taboo subject, claimed that clapping was a signal used by those types. {I'm trying not to get this thread deleted} go watch it on youtube. the programme is called Brass Eye. Watch the rest of the series too if you have broadband. Very English, but v. funny.

Jeez, c'mon. Everybody knows that it's about the 'height.' The seven top ear piercings reading down mean she wants it soft then hard then doggie then cowboy plus four other positions. Then there's the the fun stuff when you read the wrist bands....you just have to know the signs. :)

*smacks forehead*

How could I have forgotten?

I thank you, sir, for reminding me.

If she wears a Mickey Mouse hat on the first date, you're in for a hot time! :catroar:

Yeah, but the hat comes off too easily when you grab the ears . . . :p

During my youth, many, many years ago, Thursday was called "Fairy's Day" and wearing yellow meant one was gay. I don't think anybody actually believed that but, at that time and that place, we all avoided wearing yellow on Thursday.

I was also told that having a mustache meant the wearer liked to eat pussy. This was a long time ago, when that particular act was not as popular as it is now, and mustaches were not as common either.
