No need to be afraid. Sex shops are in business to sell products and make money. They are there to help you. The patrons in there for the same thing you are; curiosity, to find something, and to make a purchase. Go in and explore, have fun.

My suggestion is to go online and do a google search for ones in your local and read comments by patrons. You will be able to judge the better ones. You can also go online and browse products so you are a little more knowledgeable.

I asked op what they were concerned over so we could gauge response. I don't love sex shops and probably never will. Staff ARE always friendly though, and helpful. A suggestion? If it's nerves, just go in without planning a purchase, just to look around and get used to being in there. .

Why I don't like sex shops I have no idea, Some are more comfortable than others certainly.
