sex per story

I was wondering what people think about the placement of sex scenes and the number of sex scenes in a story? I would especially like to know for stories that do have a plot. Also does it matter if it is a continuing story rather than a stand-alone?

I too like a plot, but that should not get in the way of good old fashioned sex, and lots of it.

I have no specific requirement, and I think it will vary with each individual reader. Depending on my mood, I read stories with a plot, or stories with the Wank Factor cranked pretty high. If I'm reading a good story with a plot, I won't miss the sex. If it's for stroking, it might as well be a sex scene from beginning to end. It seems most of the stories I have read so far fall into the latter category.

I haven't read a fraction of the stories on Lit, but I believe the majority are simple sex scenes, with no plot to speak of.

Sex per story

I prefer to see the sex scenes make sense within the context of the story. That means you can understand why those particular characters are together and how they got to that point. This presupposes there is a plot and character development with that story.

Like Typo says if its just for stroking it should be one sex scene with little build up. If a story like that carries on it loses focus and I lose interest. Actually some really well written Literotica stories fall into the single sex scene category, but there are a lot more out there that leave much to be desired.
