A recent study of men has revealed that 51% of them would rather watch their football than have sex - as crazy as this may seem, is there anything you'd turn down the offer of sex for?

I remember back to when I was single and I was watching a Red Sox game on TV at my GF's house one summer night. Unbeknownst to me, she slipped quietly away and put on a black teddy. She tapped my lightly on my shoulder and when I turned, I was stunned at what I saw (she was GORGEOUS!). I lept over the back of that couch and carried her off. We made love perhaps four or five times that night and I never got back to turn off the TV until the next morning. It was awesome, one of those nights I'll remember on my deathbed. I didn't marry her (she was almost ten years younger than I). I started dating my wife soon after we broke it off.

If my wife interrupted a Patriots game today, I'd be highly suspicious of her motives, since she has no interest in sex except to pacify me twice a month. And even then, it's basically a "paint by numbers" experience. Been there, done that. I know this sounds ludicrous, but I think I'd just rather be left alone. I'd do it, don't get me wrong, 'cause I know it'd be another two to three weeks before my next time, but I'd be PO'd that it couldn't happen at a more opportune time. If she had a genuine interest in the experience, the Pats could take a flying leap for all I care. I'd MUCH rather get laid. I am a guy, after all.

If I'm busy or distracted, I'm not interested in sex or affection, but I can be cajoled fairly easily. Sexually or otherwise we touch a lot anyway. I can't say there's anything on television that would keep me from her, though, and definitely not football.....

Sex is great but it is just one among many pleasures. When sex is not just for pleasure and it has love, intimacy and stuff like that I'd opt for it over a lot of things.

I like balance. If I'm hard up for sex I'll take it over football. But if I have a healthy sex life and the game is on, sex can wait. If I win then the fucking is on. If we lose then I may be too depressed to perform.
