How wonderful!

Republicans and Putin are threatening to retaliate.
In step and in agreement.

Color me not surprised.

This is not the first time that Republicans have used treason and treachery against Americans.

The 35 Russian diplomats being kicked out are intelligence operatives, Obama said. They were declared “persona non grata,” and they were given 72 hours to leave the country. The State Department declined to identify them.

The two compounds being closed down are recreational facilities owned by Russia’s government, one in Maryland and one in New York, the U.S. said. The White House said Russia had been notified that Russia would be denied access to the sites starting noon on Friday.

Russia gave military and logistical backing to separatists fighting against Ukrainian forces in east Ukraine, in a war that broke out in spring 2014.

Research has shown that Russia shelled Ukraine from inside its own territory, as well as sending weapons and troops over the border.

Harassing diplomats

Following sanctions against Russia over the 2014 annexation of Crimea, jingoist rhetoric has grown and President Vladimir Putin has warned about “enemies from abroad” and a “fifth column” sowing unrest in Russia.

John Kerry, spoke with Putin about the harassment of diplomats during a March visit. But in June, a Russian federal security service guard stationed outside the US embassy in Moscow attacked a US diplomat who was trying to enter, breaking his shoulder.

According to multiple former officials, during President Obama’s first term Russian intelligence broke into the house of the U.S. defense attache and killed his dog in Moscow.

One table setting for thee, and one table setting for Me, are the rules, according to Jabba the Drumpf.

December 30, 2016 An American politician stood up to Jabba the Drumpf's suggestions, to move on and get on with our lives.

"This, from a man that cannot move on from a bad restaurant review!"*

(Plenty of people have written reviews about the food that Trump establishments serve. Why single out Vanity Fair for an honest assessment ?)

Jabba the Drumpf tells citizens of our American nation,

“I think we ought to get on with our lives,” Trump said. “I think that computers have complicated lives very greatly. The whole age of the computer has made it where nobody knows exactly what’s going on. We have speed, we have a lot of other things, but I'm not sure we have the kind of security we need.”

resident-elect Donald Trump will meet with the intelligence community next week to discuss Russian interference in the presidential election, he said in a vaguely worded statement issued Thursday evening that did not mention the sanctions announced by President Obama earlier that day.

“It's time for our country to move on to bigger and better things,” Trump wrote in the brief statement. “Nevertheless, in the interest of our country and its great people, I will meet with leaders of the intelligence community next week in order to be updated on the facts of this situation

Russian President Vladi*mir Putin said Friday he would not deport U.S. diplomats in a tit-for-tat response to U.S. hacking sanctions, as Russia looks to cultivate relations with the incoming administration of President-elect Donald Trump.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...ax-635a:homepage/story&utm_term=.8d5b33ef936c

Russia signaled that it would respond by barring U.S. and foreign nationals from attending the Anglo-American School of Moscow, a move that would cause headaches for the families of U.S., British, and Canadian embassy personnel in the Russian capital. Making matters worse for American diplomats, the order also revoked their access to the U.S. embassy’s vacation house in Serebryany Bor.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov suggested that his nation was not content to deny U.S. diplomats access to schools and weekend dachas until they self-deport — instead, he called for observing diplomatic tradition and expelling 35 U.S. diplomats from Russia.

Friday morning, Putin indicated that he had decided to reject all of these suggestions (which very well may have been intended as the setup for Vladimir’s gesture of magnanimity).

I have been having many double takes, when listening or reading about Trump's pronouncements. They are in complete opposition of his behaviours.

Does this Democrat have a clear insight on what Putin's opinion on Trump, is ?

"Russia's decision not to retaliate against the U.S. over new sanctions are a "shrewd" way to attempt to curry favor with President-elect Donald Trump."

"The Russians hope to get everything they want from Donald Trump merely by flattering the man. So far, it's been successful," Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, said on MSNBC.

"He's talked about weakening NATO, potentially doing away with the Ukraine sanctions, which is what the Russians care about the most. So if they can get what they want just by saying nice things about the man, why risk upsetting the apple cart over a few expulsions?" Schiff said.

President Obama announced a series of sanctions and diplomatic expulsions Thursday in response to findings by intelligence agencies that Russia directed the hacks of Democratic groups during the presidential election.

Do the people of Russia view Trump as a fool ?

Freedom Riders

In 2005, they traveled even further, to Washington, D.C., and carried flags in the parade at George W. Bush’s inauguration. They returned in 2009, for Barack Obama’s inauguration.

Freedom Riders carry a 6-foot by 8-foot flag while riding paint horses costumed in matching red, white and blue leather.

Lockhart said this year, the Riders’ routine will feature one rider carrying a flag with the presidential seal, and five other riders following, carrying American flags.

Colorado's Freedom Riders will participate in Donald Trump's inaugural parade
Dec 30, 2016

The Freedom Riders are the only group from Colorado that are listed so far.

The other groups include a cavalry detachment from Fort Hood, a 4-H Equestrian Drill Team from Kentucky, a Caisson Platoon from Virginia, the Cleveland Police Mounted Unit, the Coastal Florida Police & Fire Pipes & Drums and several high school and college marching bands.

Not these Freedom Riders-

On Sunday, May 14, 1961—Mother's Day—scores of angry white people blocked a Greyhound bus carrying black and white passengers through rural Alabama. The attackers pelted the vehicle with rocks and bricks, slashed tires, smashed windows with pipes and axes and lobbed a firebomb through a broken window. As smoke and flames filled the bus, the mob barricaded the door. "Burn them alive," somebody cried out. "Fry the goddamn n*****s." An exploding fuel tank and warning shots from arriving state troopers forced the rabble back and allowed the riders to escape the inferno. Even then some were pummeled with baseball bats as they fled.

A few hours later, black and white passengers on a Trailways bus were beaten bloody after they entered whites-only waiting rooms and restaurants at bus terminals in Birmingham and Anniston, Alabama.

The bus passengers assaulted that day were Freedom Riders, among the first of more than 400 volunteers who traveled throughout the South on regularly scheduled buses for seven months in 1961 to test a 1960 Supreme Court decision that declared segregated facilities for interstate passengers illegal.

Raymond Arsenault is the author of Freedom Riders: 1961 and the Struggle for Racial Justice. The book details how volunteers — both black and white — traveled to Mississippi and Alabama to fight segregation in transit systems.

Despite being backed by recent federal rulings that it was unconstitutional to segregate bus riders, the Freedom Riders met with obstinate resistance — as in Birmingham and Montgomery, where white supremacists attacked bus depots themselves.

In Freedom Riders, Arsenault details how the first Freedom Rides developed, from the personal level to the legal maneuvering involved. His narrative touches on elements from the jails of Alabama to the Kennedy White House.

Meryl Streep speaks, at the 2017 Golden Globes

Who, in Russia, could speak against Putin, without fear ?

"It was that moment when the person asking to sit in the most respected seat in our country imitated a disabled reporter, someone he outranked in privilege, power, and the capacity to fight back. It kind of broke my heart when I saw it. I still can't get it out of my head because it wasn't in a movie. It was real life."

"...instinct to humiliate when it’s modeled by someone in a public platform, it filters down into everyone’s life because it gives permission for others to do the same."

.
"Disrespect invites disrespect, violence incites violence. And when the powerful use their position to bully others we all lose.”

"...we have to remind each other of the privilege and the responsibility of the act of empathy."

"We need the principled press to hold power to account, to call them on the carpet for every outrage. That's why our founders enshrined the press and its freedoms in our constitution. So I only ask the famously well-heeled Hollywood Foreign Press and all of us in our community to join me in supporting the committee to protect journalists. Because we're going to need them going forward. And they'll need us to safeguard the truth."

gsgs comment-

I do not look up to Trump, as a role model.

I am guessing that the people that cast their votes for Jabba the Drumpf, do not look up to him, either.

Jabba the Drumf is meant to be a cream filled pie shell flung at the face.
There is no chocolate filling, lemon filling, or vanilla filling, under the cream.

It is excrement, under the whipped cream.

This Jabba the Drumpf pie is getting flung, with the motive of malice.

Jabba the Drumpf is malice, personified.

allo, creepy!

This weapon cuts both ways...

Who will get stabbed with the pointy end ?

:(

Wikileaks crossed a big red line and woke up a lot of people to their true agenda: they posted a tweet calling for the doxing of all “verified” Twitter users.

"We are thinking of making g an online database with all "verified" Twitter accounts, and their family/job/financial/housing relationships."

A creepy thought-

"...intelligence agencies face "existential crisis" prompted by the imminent prospect of serving "someone for whom the truth is irrelevant."
