Anyone run SETI@home?
I used to be in a group years ago but had to bail out because my old computer bogged down too much running it.
Just rejoined, but my old group seems defunct now.

Hmm I don't but that sure sounds like an interesting project. I think I'll look into it!

I remember the old SETI programme, we used to run it from the college computers (many years ago) but I was always wary of installing it on my home PC, but saying that I've just been browsing the link you gave and I think I may install it later.

It still looks as interesting as it did all those years ago. Plus I like the option of contributing to more than one project. :)

Some peope in my other forums have signed up for it. One person even bought a Playstation 3 just to run that program, as it's one of the things that the PS3 excels at.
