Are you trying to suggest someone write a story like this?

I think it would me more 'scientific' if the women were given gene therapy, injections, or hooked up to some device to alter their bodies. "Here, scarf this Snickers Bar of massive breasts," doesn't strike me as being horribly futuristic.

I'm wondering if rather than a sci-fi future setting this doesn't lend itself better to an "alternate universe" setting. That way the story can be contemporary or any time frame and you get to make the societal rules as you go along.

For instance, you could have a guy visiting the "Slave Department" at Macey's or some such. Just a thought.

I think the idea has merit in whole.

I like JJ's idea of the Alt. univ. Time travellers enter a portal in space and arrive at a place to buy their "toys" . The toys of course are people, abducted from every era of history and time, then placed on the auction block. These travellers can buy and sell their toys at will and trade as well. The 5 w's need to be worked out, but on the whole, a good idea to write about. Lance

In a world with a victorious South and no abolition, perhaps? Or in an Empire of Brazil that kept slavery and monarchy?

Perhaps you can make what you're gonna write about anyway legal, including, sodomy (Bollywood Kama Sutra combined with Roman orgies), insest (English wenchs from middle ages as harum concubines with grand children in modern times), and public nudity with casual consensual sex ("Free Love" gone amuk).
