One of the many reasons I am an exhibitionist and play at public dungeons and at more private parties with an audience...

My playlist varies with the kind of scene I am doing... slow, soft sensual music when I am doing wax play and other sensual play...

Hard rock, driving techno when I'm planning on flogging and caning...
NIN, Metallica, Rammstein, the soundtrack from Blade or any of the sequels...

The 1812 Overture when I really wanna tear up an ass with a paddle...

To date HM no BITES anywhere.. we dont do it all outside but alot of play is.. like being handcuffed to the bumper.. LOL.. but NO BITES now I proly just cursed myself.. hahah

Being a musician, I can't have music playing during a session. I tend to listen to much to the song and can't stay centered on what I'm doing.

If there is music playing in the background, it must be totally in the background and not loud enough for me to make out what the songs are. So what use is that?

I guess I could handle classical or maybe new wave playing. But, I don't need anything really, other than the whimpers and cries of my submissive. That's music enough for me.

Just a note: Some of the new stuff that's out I just couldn't handle, period. I won't mention those titles.

when i do massages for A i use either nature sounds or comedy, depending on if he wants to zone out or stay focused

T has this problem too. It's a point of contention--eating at restaurants, driving in the car, and anytime in the bedroom. It's one or the other.

Exactly. People sometimes think I'm overly happy, because I'm humming along with a song. Actually, it's just a part of me to do that.


That, and the fact that I'm sometimes overly happy.

We have experimented with different playlist but what I really like now are yoga chants like Gayatri Mantra --Deva Premal. Just seems to be a perfect match.

I've never listened to music while playing. I'd find it too distracting, and it sort of smacks of "staging," which ain't our style. I like listening to his voice or being in total sensory dep, where I can't really hear anything at all.

I don't want to have to have music all the time. That to me means the music is too important. I find it irritating then. Plus some music I will simply get lost in.

I've done it both ways.

My first few sessions were done with music playing. "It's so hard being evil" or something like that playing over and over again. The real reason why he played it was because they had neighbors who would call the cops if they heard the slightest smack. So he played the music to cover up the sounds of the whips and such and the screams he expected out of me. *giggles* poor bastard barely ever got more than a whimper out of me....and I know he wanted to hear me scream. He was just surprized at my pain tolerance considering how new I was to the game.

I also would be center stage when the shop went to clubs. When ever the shop owner heard a song he really liked, he'd pick a toy and pull it out then give me the look and I'd strut my little but over to the spot and be flogged to the beat. I really miss that.

But then I've had sessions with out any music at all, then I can hear as the tools hit my skin.

I enjoy it both ways, I don't need it one way or the other. But there are some songs that just leave me begging to be beaten.
